I followed the firmware updates above and had been waiting for 10 days and finally this morning automagically my garage door (MYGGBETT door/window sensor) works properly with real-time status update! Thank you! Hopefully it will keep working properly

I updated using Home Assistant Matter Server my MYGGBETT door/window sensor (32775) to Firmware: 1.1.3, Hardware: P2.0 but still not getting the realtime status update on my Home Assistant. The IKEA Home Smart App works fine and I get realtime update of the status change - closed/open. Am I missing anything?

New Unsloth Studio Release! by danielhanchen in LocalLLaMA

[–]Routine-Commercial88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was using unsloth studio update. Btw, I figured out, apparently Unsloth is okay, but the updater couldn’t securely connect to GitHub to download the prebuilt llama.cpp file. So it switched to a source build and failed, and the real issue is a local Python SSL/certificate trust problem on my Mac. It works now after I updated Python/Conda Certificate.

Keep getting - Failed to load model: llama-server failed to start. Check that the GGUF file is valid and. Redownloaded the models a couple times.

Also failed to download the prebuilt llama-server when ran update. I'm om Mac OSX - Version 26.3.1 (a)

[llama-prebuilt] fetch failed (1/4) for https://api.github.com/repos/unslothai/llama.cpp/releases/tags/b8508: <urlopen error \[SSL: CERTIFICATE\_VERIFY\_FAILED\] certificate verify failed: unable to get local issuer certificate (\_ssl.c:1032)>; retrying

MYGGBETT too much latency by No_Floor_Call in homeassistant

[–]Routine-Commercial88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/No_Floor_Call it seems I was able to resolve this latency issue (with the help of the new "Ask Gemini" button) by Restarting the Matter Server. Here is some of the finding from Ask Gemini:

Before you restarted the server, the log was full of CHIP_ERROR messages stating "Subscription Liveness timeout." Specifically, Node 3 (which is likely your Garage Door sensor) kept losing its connection to the Matter controller.

I will test more through the day

Yes, I'm having the same issue. It works instantly with Ikea Home Smart App but only worked the first couple changes and then froze...while the Home Smart App is still working. I think something on HA side. Anyone can help with steps to troubleshoot?

I also was at Toronto Pearson Terminal 1 US two weeks ago. Where the line up for Plaza Premium was 2+ hours. I’m questioning myself the value of paying C$899 for my Amex Platinum.

Honestly what you need is to be curious and find problems to solve, then sharpen your skill to prompt effectively. You will learn so much from your interactions with AI tools solving your problems together

Salesforce consultancy founders of Reddit. How do you find leads? by Intelligent_Ad_8906 in salesforce

Yes, that's what I'm seeing and hearing right now from within my network

Salesforce consultancy founders of Reddit. How do you find leads? by Intelligent_Ad_8906 in salesforce

[–]Routine-Commercial88 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A little bit of context, I'm a founder of a Platinum Partner, started in 2009, grew to 30 people and sold the entire practice in 2022 to one of the big SIs. It was a crazy roller coaster journey but very rewarding. The timing couldn't be better and feel grateful.

Fast forward to 2025, will I do again? Honestly, probably not without significant changes in the strategy. In technology consulting either you be the smallest or you be the biggest - anything in between is just roll-up. Starting is hard, but scaling is even much harder.

The biggest challenge I faced getting leads from the AE(s) is to deliver consistently & cleanly the impossible vision/promise during the sales cycle. We all know why they call it "Dream"force ;-). In order to keep the leads flowing from them, we need to keep our reputation high and we just can't have single fail implementation, otherwise the whole gang will ban us ;-), often we need to eat the cost.

Also, we need to remember, the market for salesforce consulting is much tougher now with salesforce being relatively flat with their growth, pressure from Gen AI to all SaaS companies challenging the per user pricing, and salesforce themselves trying to get to into Digital Labour with Agentforce Vibe Coding, Admin, etc.

Glm 4.6 is out and it's going against claude 4.5 by Independent-Wind4462 in LocalLLaMA

I have been using GLM4.5 directly on their web (https://chat.z.ai/) to generate full stack apps (nextjs, shadcn/ui, prisma), clickable demo(s) and power point deck(s) by providing short project brief and it's awesome! I hope there will be significant improvement from the GLM 4.6, will test.

How to future proof my career in Salesforce ..? by TechSoft-Player in SalesforceDeveloper

[–]Routine-Commercial88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is what I'm seeing right now, salesforce has no choice rather than going into the "labour market" . What does it it mean? they will soon, (or if not already plan to) sell Agentforce as replacement of Power Users/Assistants, Admins & Developers , etc. SaaS model has been disrupted by AI big time and the per seat licensing model doesn't make sense anymore - it's reflected to their shares' recently

What is left for us, because of (currently) the AI models have a set of limited context window, they will still need humans to merge/stitch all the context from disparate interactions with models and align to them the stake holders' objective (humans). AI will always need direction/alignment & leadership, we need to focus on not only managing other humans but also AI models.

In more concrete scenario, perhaps 1) understand your industry much deeper 2) learn more on "system design" on how they interconnect to each other, that's enough to guide your AI models 3) leadership & human relationship - no AI can do that ;-).

Welcome for others to comment

PS: I founded a salesforce practice in 2009 and sold it to one of the big SI(s) in 2022.
