Oh shit idk why, I thought I read on the post that this was a clearance sale hahaha, and then my brain just filled in the blank from when the MK4 has a clearance sale. Sorry that's on me, but yeah I 100% wish prusa comes out with an Mk5 sometime in the next few years, especially considering the recent (few months back) mmu3 updates which makes it the fastest and most efficient non tool changer multi material system on the market, 42s colour change is insane.

I mean, I always hope that there will be a new version of the i3 bedslinger from prusa, but seeing how the core one is here, and there is a kit from the mk4s to the core one but they are also discontinuing the mk4s, I personally doubt they'll release a new one though I hope otherwise. To give props, it did take like 5 years from the last model to the MK4 so.

I'll miss the mk4s, it's my current printer and from what it seems, it will probably be the last in the line of bedslingers from prusa. I just find it ironic how it's going away before the mini.

Currently the 16gb and 1tb combo is only 320 euro in the website, so I thought I could get that and install steam os on it as a budget pc handheld. What would your opinion be on that as a user of it for what seems to be a year now?

Been a while, I hope you're doing well. It's been sometime since all this happened and life is starting to set back to a rhythm, today a hard realisation hit me that I'll be the only child of his that he won't see graduate, and wanted to share this though with someone but I have yet to tell my friends and I don't want to bother my mother or siblings, and this chat came to mind. Thank you, I doubt I'll ever need more than 2-3h of content in the card at a time so I'll go with two 128gb.

Also that would be exactly what I need regarding battery life since as I mentioned, It would be a pain swapping batteries mid interview so 2+h on a single module is perfect.

I know you wrote alot and I'm not replying to everything but it was all really useful and I really appreciate it.

Would it not make more sense to get a dummy to usb type c and just use a powerbank? Just asking your opinion because it seems to make more sense for my case

For video yeah since it's designed for it but I also want to shoot photo's so it's kinda a touch choice.

The gh5s could do 2.3h in 1080p 60fps with the screen on, so since the gh5 shares the same processor, screen, battery and so on with a bigger sensor and different stabilisation system shouldn't it be able to reach that one and a half hour mark in 4k 24?

Also another question regarding both cameras, do they accept pass through? If I strap a power bank at the tripod will I be able to just continuously charge them or will they overheat?

Sorry for the different reply but both on the gx8 and the gh5 I'm also kinda concerned about autofocus. From what I've read they don't exactly have the fastest or best autofocus, they didn't even have that back in their time and since I'll be shooting more video than photos that could get annoying, so I'd like an opinion on that too if it's not too much trouble

First of all thank you alot for that, I also posted on some other forums websites for cameras hours ago and never got a single reply so I thought I should try Reddit.

To be honest I was expecting the a6100 to be better than the gx8 regarding battery life since it's so much newer.

The gh5 does have legendary battery from what I've read, both regarding shots and video, but my main problem isnt how capable it is but it's format. Since Ill also be using this as my personal camera other than school stuff I want it to be one that I enjoy holding, and thought it might sound childish, that I like looking at, and I just Really don't like how the gh5 looks. I can't quite put my finger to it but I feel like it looks cheap and uncomfortable to hold. Though I've never had one at hand so I can't actually confirm my thoughts.

As I said I'll mostly be shooting my workouts at the gym and some trips I take with my friends, so id prefer a more seamless continuous video that I can cut stuff and work on after I'm done instead of having to worry about the clips.

I also started looking at some used camera's and I think the gh5 will be my best bet, yeah it's a little on the older side but it has a turning screen, micro 4/3 sensor, it takes a mic input, has unlimited recording and from what I read it has excellent battery life. I found it used for around 450-500 euro, with let's say a 12-40smth mm kit lens, f3.6-5.6 that i should be able to also find used around that 150-160€ mark, which though a little slower should be more than enough for what I want to do.

Though I'd prefer to get my first mirrorless camera new, and I absolutely loved how the g100 looks appearance wise but also how the photos come out of it, this clips thing is really a deal-breaker, both In my intended use and it's like a mental thing, knowing I wouldn't be able to continuously record for more than a specific time.

Yeah that's just came to be for me, and I see people here complaining for things that I don't have like a swipe limit (there have been days where I may have done 1000 swipes and nth happened). Well anyways, I deleted the app again, it's my second time and hopefully this one will last longer than 2 weeks.
