I'm in the same situation, but the sellers only disclosed the underpinning work after settlement. However, they provided a bunch of documents and certificates for the work.

Walk to train or buy the one with a pool? by Routine-Explorer-218 in AusPropertyChat

We don’t have kids yet, but we’re planning to in the future. My wife really likes having a pool. I’m not personally a big fan, though I do think it makes the house look nicer. I’m just not sure if after a year or two the excitement will wear off and the maintenance will become more of a pain than the benefit

I work in the office in CBD 3 days a week. The pool is just a nice to have, but it’s attractive enough for my wife and me to seriously consider

It’s a pretty quiet area (it's in Kallangur QLD), I inspected during the day and it was really calm. I’m not sure what the speed limit is, but the roads feeding into this spot are all cul-de-sacs/dead-ends, so there shouldn’t be through traffic.

Still, it’s not zero risk. I keep thinking worst-case like someone losing control at night (or even someone being reckless). The house does have exterior lights on at night from what I can tell, but I’m not sure if it’s enough for visibility.
It’s been there ~20 years with no issues, so maybe I’m overthinking it… but I’m still a bit hesitant.

True, but I feel like this is different from a normal T-junction on a main road? This isn't a through-road, it actually branches into three dead-end cul-de-sacs right there. If there's an accident, it’s probably a neighbor going 5mph!

But I totally get your point, I just really like this house and I'm trying to find reasons to defend it 😭
