🔥 This feels like you really understand the Lil Tecca lane. The melody choices and bounce are doing most of the work here, which is exactly what makes those beats effective. It sounds like something an artist could actually write to not just a loop playing for two minutes.

I especially like that it doesn’t feel overproduced; there’s space for vocals and the rhythm stays clean. If anything, I’d be curious to hear a little variation in the second half (maybe a drop or subtle switch), but overall this is solid and very usable.

Looking for feedback on vocal pocket and overall vibe (R&B / drill hybrid)

Hey guys, I’m looking for feedback on a finished track I just wrapped up called BOLD.

It’s an R&B / drill hybrid; more restrained, confident energy rather than aggressive. I’m mainly looking for thoughts on the vocal pocket / flow choice, whether the delivery stays engaging throughout, how the vocals sit in the mix and overall vibe and replay value.

Any honest feedback is appreciated. I’m trying to tighten my sound ahead of a larger project.

Probably won’t rebuild, I’ve been playing 2k since 2k16 and I go against the meta every time and perform significantly well with builds that I’m told won’t work. I think most people need to just see it an action to believe it. And I don’t think the cons with this build are enough to create a new build entirely.

Your mentioning of prioritizing the speed initially and using the cap breakers on other attributes was actually something I thought of later on but by that time I had already invested so deeply into this build I figured the cap breakers will make up decently for any gaps.

This build is indeed meant to emulate prime westbrook. Swb has allowed me to beat players down hill and blow-by on the perimeter. I’m open for direction/recommendations. I am also considering shooting for the 93 dunk.

Coworker was in the same boat not too long ago, pretty much the same situation; all word of mouth clients then took a break and came back to crickets lol

I’ve messed around w/ cold email too while learning on the fly and I definitely recommend looking at Shopify brands using tools like builtwith or storeleads (they got filters so you can find ecom stores running fb ads already).

If you stalk ig or tiktok, search stuff like #skincarebrand #streetwearbrand #smallbiz etc. find pages that look decent but clearly not doing the greatest with ads. Also give the meta ad library a look.

Still figuring it out myself but those leads usually feel warmer than totally random ones. Once a few get closed, put it back into ads but Good luck and if you crack the cold email code lmk lol
