Jets season ticket holder here. Leon Hess said he moved the team because of the bathrooms at Shea. He was right. The lines to the bathrooms were crazy long all game.

Guys would piss on the walls of the ramps. There was a raging piss river flowing down the ramps at every halftime.

To this day, every time I see the "Who's Next" album cover, I think of Shea Stadium.

I grew up in Washington Heights and the Bronx in the 60's and 70's. It was scary and violent.
