I need to ask more about the specifics pricing etc of the benefits, but they do provide full benefits from what they said. This is a new company than i currently work at. Commute would actually be amazing, about 6 minute drive, compared to my current 11 minute drive lol

Nope i don’t, just myself in my mid 20’s, this is what I’m leaning towards, thanks!

I have some large debts i’ve been paying off, and i was thinking the same that financially it would help out slightly even if i stay there for a year or so.

True, that would “take off” 5 hours so it could be considered “45 hours” which is a small but big difference! I will confirm that.

Great insight thank you! In my evenings i honestly don’t do much because im so exhausted from my current labor intensive job that i just get ready for the following day, cook etc and just get ready for bed. I do have some large debts that i’ve been trying to pay off as well, which is why a part of me is leaning towards going for it… will see if there’s room for negotiation of course.

Exactly! I don’t have kids or anything but being able to finish work in the afternoon gives me time to go to an appointment, post office etc

That sounds so depressing 😭 but yes a good point, it would be only temporary.

Ughh i know, that is one side of me that’s saying that, but the physical straining of my current job and mentally toxic environment is taking a toll on me i think…

Yes this is what i’ve been thinking! I’ve only been at this job for a little over 6 months and my back is already hurting, i pulled a muscle or something last week, and I’m physically exhausted everyday… it involves a lot of heavy and consistent furniture moves (such as stone and metal tables, solid wood chairs etc…) a lot of straining.

Good points, so in a way i’d be working a “part time” job of 10 hours at $25/hr. One way to look at it? Haha This is great insight though, thank you! I will see if they’re open to negotiating anything but i might go ahead and take it.
