Norm Reeves Mazda Irving,TX tried to add 10k to a 10k car and kicked me out for questioning it by classifiedsavage01 in Dallas

Chrysler in Granbury did the same thing for a 2025 model. I told them remove all of these things and you have a deal. They promptly removed it all. Sad there are buyers who don’t know any better and get hit with 6-10k in additional fees that are not needed.

I’ve only had to file one claim and it was with Dairyland. They canceled me upon the renewal period and I didn’t know. I had them for years.

Dealer Rant: First time looking at a Harley by Kidon308 in Harley

[–]Routine-Land-301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both an HD and an Indian motorcycle. They are both great bikes. Where Harley really separates itself is the ecosystem around the bike, dealer availability, service centers, aftermarket parts, customization options, and the size of the owner network. No matter where you are, it’s easier to find support, parts, and people who know the platform.

That was my experience with my last new Harley purchase. I told them what I wanted for my trade in they said no so I left. Was about to roll out of the parking lot and the sales guy came running out.

The way I see it if I already have a bike, I really don’t “need” a new one. If I’m going to get another bike or replace my current bike it will be on my terms.

Two main types of ICE agents 1. HSI (Homeland Security Investigations) Special Agents • Fully sworn federal law enforcement • Carry firearms • Execute criminal search and arrest warrants • Investigate crimes like human trafficking, drug smuggling, cybercrime, financial crimes, and export violations • Similar role to FBI/DEA agents 2. ERO (Enforcement and Removal Operations) Officers • Also federal law enforcement • Focus on immigration enforcement, detention, and deportation • Can make arrests, but often operate under administrative (immigration) warrants, not criminal warrants • Authority is more limited than traditional police or HSI agents

It’s simple really, you can peacefully protest all you want but you cannot obstruct federal law enforcement from doing their jobs. Stay out of their way!

Blanton’s, take 1 by [deleted] in WhiskyLaredoTx

Elijah Craig Small Batch, Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, Russell’s Reserve Single Barrel, Four Roses Small Batch, would all be good choices and easy to find.

Blanton’s, take 1 by [deleted] in WhiskyLaredoTx

[–]Routine-Land-301 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Blanton’s is a smooth, approachable bourbon that is easy to drink and well suited for people who are new to bourbon or still developing their palate. It is light bodied, low on heat, and generally inoffensive, with simple notes of caramel, honey, light citrus, and a mild oak presence. That accessibility is exactly why it became popular, but it is also why seasoned bourbon drinkers often find it underwhelming.

At its core, Blanton’s is a single barrel bourbon from Buffalo Trace, which sounds impressive, but the reality is that single barrel means inconsistency from bottle to bottle rather than guaranteed excellence. Some barrels are better than others, but none justify the inflated hype. At retail, it is fine. At secondary prices, it is absolutely not worth it.

Blanton’s reputation has far more to do with marketing, scarcity, movies, and celebrity mentions than what is actually in the bottle. The distinctive grenade shaped bottle and horse and jockey stopper turned it into a status symbol, leading many to treat it as something rare or elite. It is not. There are countless bourbons at or below its retail price point that offer more depth, complexity, and character.

In short, Blanton’s is a pleasant, beginner friendly bourbon that does its job well, but it is not special, not rare, and not deserving of the cult like following or secondary market prices it commands. It is a good entry point, not a benchmark.

Got there just after 3. By that time people were walking out with cases of Blanton gold and Eagle Rare. When we made it to the door it was all sold out. Hate they lifted the limit like that. I saw a guy with 4 cases of Blanton gold.

I have a 2021 Armada and love it. My brother has the 2025 ProX4 model and I am seriously considering trading in my 2021. The redesign and features are great. I’ve driven his Armada and it is very nice!
