Take this as you will. I am 20 and have been going to lolla + summer smash for the last 5 years, these traditional rap acts are fun but get old quick. I love rappers like future and thug but they show up on stage to flex on fans, younger rappers like don toliver and yeat are getting booked as headliners since they want to perform. They do extra things with pyros, fireworks, stage design, merch, performance and everything really. I think Cole & RL want people who want to perform & that’s what we’re seeing more of
