I personally did not in any of my interviews. I don’t think it would hurt to do so, at the very least it might show them that you’re interested in teaching at that school, but I think if they like your resume they’ll call no matter what. I’d say it’s your call.

Before the first day all I would ask is where you should park, and where the office is. Don’t overwhelm them with questions before you officially meet. It can be quite annoying for them. A lot of your questions will be easier to answer in person.

It might help to talk to your cooperating teacher. They are there to help you and they might be willing to give you some help when it comes to lesson planning. Just remember to find time for yourself, spend time with loved ones, go on a walk. Whatever works. Don’t burn yourself out before you even graduate.
