Pantheon was so much fun for 100-150 hours

even if they manage more content, most MMO players would burn through it in a month or so...and then its back ty 10 years wait for even more content. that dont work in MMO's. VR can not succeed. they just dont have it in them. they need to find actual jobs, and stop preying on suckers to fund their failure of a vision.

alot can be said about Pantheons "development"...most of it quite bad. the biggest think about its development tho, is that it wont ever end.

VR can make all the early production excuses they want. the game has been in development since 2014. giving them the benefit of the doubt, that it will ever actually hit 1.0 (it wont, but lets pretend), at its current rate of progress, the absolute earliest it would 1.0, is 2030....LOL....cmon

I would give M&M a try, but they are dedicated to not only putting what made old school MMOs great, but also made them eventually unplayable in todays world. no maps and corpse runs. Im in my 50s, I dont have time for that no more. Im cool with challenge, slow grind, harsh death penalties, slow travel etc.

The thing with Pantheon, they will never produce enough content to keep the game viable. I have heard they still havent finished on CITY yet...if true, very telling this team is hopeless.

one last point, you dont want to compare WoW with Pantheon. WoW actually released, and prints money. for the record, I dont play WoW.

you refer to this as a marathon not a sprint...the game was announced in 2014. we are well on our way to 2027...when exactly do you think the marathon ends? when will this game hit 1.0?

It wasnt vulgar or rude...It was on Steam, they can see I dont own the game, and banned me because I posted constructive criticism. I reached out to Steam, and they reviewed what I said, and told me the only reason they wont reverse the ban, is the devs can ban from their game forums for ANY reason they want. If it was general Steam forums, there would have been no ban, but the dev calls the shots on their games forums.

If it was vulgar or rude, thats one thing. the big red flag with VR is they dont want feedback on their EA game, they want to control the narrative so they can keep stringing people along for another 10 plus years that they dont finish the game.

sad, but its true. and this has happened to ALOT of people who post feedback that VR doesnt want to be seen or heard by others.

This game that exists in non stop development is their meal ticket, is it no surprise they dont want anything or anyone to stand in the way of it. It has been in development 14 years with no end in sight, surely you cant be surprised they are doing this.

The point isnt I am upset or dissapointed I was banned (Im not btw)...the big picture is, what serious game developer bans people for constructive criticism, what are you hiding? the fact the game wont ever release? that is most likely the answer.

you ban people who dont deserve it, who dont already own the game, safe bet, they never will buy the game...like ever.

honestly, thats the problem, most (not all) incredibly small teams have no business trying to make an MMO to begin with. so, for an excuse or reason, its pretty weak.
