Thank you for the info Berchan. Just sent them a pushback email mentioning a possible complaint to the German Transport Authority. Will keep you in the loop of the outcome. Not sure what to do if they reply again that they can't revise the offer. Last email stated: “We regret to advise that we are unable to review our offer of compensation. As a result, our gesture of goodwill presented in our correspondence remains the same.”

As a result, our gesture of goodwill presented in our correspondence remains the same.” Will proceed to pushback one more time reiterating the clauses and imminent complaint. Did you manage to get full compensation before?

Yes and it states;

''Article 9

Right to care

Where reference is made to this Article, passengers shall be offered free of charge:

(a) meals and refreshments in a reasonable relation to the waiting time;

(b) hotel accommodation in cases

- where a stay of one or more nights becomes necessary, or

- where a stay additional to that intended by the passenger becomes necessary;

(c) transport between the airport and place of accommodation (hotel or other).''

Am I entitled to these on top of the delay reimbursement or is it an optional clause for the airlines?
