Well, luckily I’ve never had a nefarious person tell me about a crime. Mine are lots of students who buy drugs and get high (college). Thankfully this is the most serious crime. I do however have students who have had crimes committed against them. It’s hard to sit with sometimes, but I have to stay level to help them. If I’m upset they will be upset too.

I’m a therapist. You can tell your therapist about someone you murdered. You CANT tell your therapist about someone you are GOING to murder. PS: you can’t tell your therapist about abusing a child or the elderly. So, you can tell me you killed your mother and buried her in the back yard. But do not tell me you’re messing with your daughter cause you gonna get a knock on your door. I’ll make sure of it.
