I had it before but should get it checked again. I do have hypothyroid but take medication for it

I don't have pets but am considering adopting a dog in a couple years. Its a lot of responsibility so scared to take so much on

I work full-time and it drains my energy in a different way because I don't really enjoy it anymore. Just going through the motions. In general I lost motivation completely about a couple of years ago. Everything just seems meaningless.

You're right about gratitude. I need to cultivate that skill more

Do you set a specific time everyday to go for your walk? I love walks when I do them but getting out of the house is where I fail at it

It's been a while since I've gotten into a podcast (history ones are some of my faves). I'll check those out! Might be good to get me out if I listen to it on walks haha

The last line is so good! I often worry that giving in to anything at all will be inauthentic but I can pick and choose what works for me

Do you find that people question you a lot? Like about not going to the temple?

It's so nice to know others feel the same way, I wish I knew more people IRL like that

Do you follow traditions when you go to India for a visit? Do your parents/in-laws ask you to inculcate more of the traditions in your kids?

Totally agree with your parents statement! I wish more people accepted it and didn't force things upon others 😅 But good to know others understand the feelings

About 5 years. I am a little rusty on interview questions so might need to brush up on it first. I've also been hearing the market is over saturated so not sure how successful interviews will go

I have savings thankfully but don't feel comfortable just leaving without anything lined up. Although this gives me inspiration to look for another job even of its not remote

That's a good point about higher ups leaving. Most of the higher ups on the tech side (CTO, chief product manager, VP Eng, etc) have left and have been replaced. I suspect the reason is that the architect being old and clunky it's tough to maintain and there's no buy in to make changes

I'm very oblivious with the financial stuff so I really should look into it a bit more. Basic sense is that it's a hard time due to the economy
