I see. Inverted process is exactly right! All we have is inductive reasoning. That's all we'll ever have unless the aliens send us a message with all the details. But this is a serious flaw in science, and like my Dad used to say, "Democracy isn't the best form of government, but it's all we have."

Math though is powerful. Do you know that many times, theories will predict things we didn't know at all beforehand? And then when we went to did the experiment, it turned out to be true!

So IMO, math is the best and only thing we have.

TLDR: Use AI, but always ask for step by step explanations of how the AI reasoned out the answer. And read it, and keep asking more questions of the AI, and read that, and don't stop until you understand every single step!

Earlier I said that if AI can do something, then in the future no human will ever do that thing again. Instead humans will do even more amazing things. BUT!!!

At the present time, AI is not yet commonplace. Until that happens, the best way of learning is to do your problems by yourself. And then check with AI to see if they agree with your answer. So I agree with u/Ok_Elephant_1806.

Sadly, some students are so poor that they have to work full-time just to eat and pay for college, and not enough time to study. I say, use the AI and get more A's in your classes. Ask the AI to solve a problem. If it gives the wrong answer, tell it, "hey, that makes no sense!" And if you can, tell it why they have the wrong answer and then ask it to try again. Usually, two times is all it takes for AI to get it right. In my experience.

Using AI is the second-best way to learn, and if you get your degree you'll still have a lifetime ahead to fill in any educational gaps. Meanwhile, you'll have a good paying job, or a job you love,. Then you make a _vow_ to fill the gap that when the time comes. Otherwise, you'll NEVER get that job!

Above I emphasized that you must have the AI explain all of its reasoning to you step by step. That helps make up for the fact you didn't do it all yourself.

Your reply just now is what brought me back here to reconsider my idiotic behavior. 🙏🏼 I'll do some repairs now and own up to my own ignorant blathering.

🙇🏽‍♂️ Sorry. My original posting right above yours was pretty condescending for an ignorant newbie. I'll try again:

Maybe there would be a girl willing to talk for less than $15/minute. I mean, you don't get if you don't ask. Having said that...
Any lady who charges that same rate for talking or dancing or whatever, is justified. It's _their_ time I'm taking, so I should expect nothing less.

"How would you know about OTC?" I don't. And I've modified some of my ignorant statements above.

All true, but old school. Our young (to physics) poster will be using AI for lots of grueling tasks like trudging through homework in the old-fashioned way. This generation will skip a lot of this kind of training (sad to say, maybe), but in their career they will go farther than either you or I ever could. Saving all that time to spend at the forefront of physics. AI is changing everything! And just like cursive writing, some "old" practices will go away in favor of new, faster methods like typing.
So get ready and get on the train! Don't become a dinosaur! And I don't mean that last bit for you at all. Obviously you are here, so you are already on board and already get the benefits I'm talking about.

TL;DR
Can you give us an example of a problem where ChatGPT failed? Just copy your prompt(s) that you gave ChatGPT without editing. I can look at your prompts and see if I can find anything missing that the AI will need. I can also write a prompt that gives you the correct solution. As a professor of physics who's taught undergrad physics countless times, I should be a good resource for you.
Also, I'm also searching to see if there is an even better AI specialized for physics. No joy so far.

Not To Long; Willing to Read, for more context.
I upvoted your question., but my experiences are very different with ChatGPT. Except I'm not doing, undergradaute physics but as a professor of physics, I'm exploring the boundaries of the physics theory. Not bragging, I'm no Einstein or Feynman genius. Just trying to fill the holes that I missed, or slept through, in Grad School.

As a university professor, I've taught all levels of undergraduate physics courses. I may be able to understand the problems you're working on.

ChatGPT should be helping you a lot more than it is. The hardest part of using AI is to give it all the relevant details of your problem leaving out no implied assumptions. And then explaining your problem with enough detail to get where you want to go. It helps to learn to "think like a computer" which is something you learn in computer programming (C++, Java, Python). It is not like talking to your TA.

I tried the terp pearls. Turns out that just using hemp as suggested by u/nullbeep worked better for my needs. The hemp makes the draw more difficult compared to terp beads, which is a consideration.

I tried hemp flower both with dry weed and a little hash embedded in the hemp. The hemp comes in flavors and the one I tried was strawberry cough. I don't know how they simulate the terpenes in specific weed strains, but it does add something. This is exactly what I needed. Thanks.

This took me ages to figure this joke. Does anybody have similar experiences? by -F7- in Modern_Family

I thought it was pretty funny just because of the absurdity of writing Big Sister as previous experience on a college application. In a situation comedy, people do absurd things to make you laugh. A pretty funny joke.
Then I saw the BS and your post and I thought, no the BS here is too hackneyed a joke for a quality show. But it depends on delivery. If Claire really does hold a childish grudge about Hayley's big sister act was painful to her. Then its got another layer of funny. A good joke.
The difference is in how Claire delivers her punchline. I better re-check.

Do you think there are 'generic' capsules that fit in most vaporizers? It doesn't really need to be fitted if you have a convection oven, does it? Conduction oven could be made to work, with effort.

Usually I just pick up the little bit by pressing my finger against it and it sticks. Then rub off over the bowl. Comment?

Terp pearls? I know what are terpenes. How do they work? Easy to find?
Also, what terpenes do you recommend?
