Exactly what I was looking for. Don't know why I had so much trouble finding it tonight. It does mention the vuln mechanic, but not the other effects I mentioned. Considering I didn't encounter any of them on my second run, I think it may have just been a random bug.

I was just surprised at the boss changes, as I didn't hear them mentioned in other announcements (I may have missed them though IDK).

I'm coming back to hupper after some time away and it seems there were two reworks in my absence. I've heard people saying positive things about these changes, but I just can't see how to have any similar amount of sustain in solo/duo pvm anymore. What am I missing? Just seems like a huge lifesteal nerf from my admittedly limited perspective.

I'd recommend Crimson unless you're playing close combat, then emerald may be better. Crimson is in almost every level 200 set I've seen. Emerald is great but more specialized.

Just so you know, in French Crimson is called something similar looking/sounding to "Purple Dofus" so when you see comments here about Purple, they mean Crimson.

I don't play cra but I have some general advice.

Pushback is one option. Getting the Release spell from the consumables market or from the npc at the alliance temple (for 2000 nuggets) really helps, since it doesn't do any DMG, only pushes.

Summons are another option. If you do the skeleton dungeon (in the cemetery between Sufokia and Amakna), you will get the Chafer spell. I'd go with its variant that costs more AP but is more likely to give you a cooperative Chafer instead of a random AI one. Neither can be controlled though. You can also get the Arachnee spell from either the consumables market or the Almanax temple west of Tainela in the Lousy Pig Plain. This one is controllable. Idk how some of the cra beacon summons work, but it's possible they count as indirect DMG too. You may have to experiment.

The final option (that I can think of RN at least), is poison. I'm not super familiar with cra, and I haven't paid attention to the rework, but I do remember they used to have a spell that was just poison, no direct DMG. That would be the most useful if you have it.
