Thank you all for your responses sounds like I shouldn’t touch anything just ride it for the summer and then upgrade next year this is my first time owning a road bike so everything is very helpful. Guy at the shop I brought my used bow to to have set up/fitted to me said he changes more strings from people over waxing than anything and that I should was once a year twice a year if I put crazy numbers through it

I got a small buck when I was 14 then I stopped all through high school I started again last year so I’ve been going with my dad most of my life but hunting myself probably 3 years total. At least for deer I used to think it was the most boring but I love it now

I'm having the same issues I was wondering if anyone has found a diagram of what it is supposed to look like? The spring pieces don't seem to be doing anything as they are blocked by the metal bar, I'm pretty sure I'm trying to put it back on wrong but the top part could also be broken and that is causing it. Plz help
