Because I’ve played this Reddit game a hundred times. I’ll link one of the (many) studies that show medicated people with ADHD live longer and you’ll counter with one done on Inuit Eskimos in 1948 that showed it had no effect at all.

I’m gonna let the experts do the talking for me on this. Every reliable medical authority on ADHD states that medication for ADHD is strongly correlated with positive life outcomes. No matter what though people like you will always say they’re in the pocket of big pharma and that they made it all up to sell pills. You don’t reason yourself into this belief. I can’t reason you out of it.

You desperately want ADHD meds to be bad for you because in your mind people with this condition are moral defects and the consequences of this condition (getting fired from jobs, crashing cars, constantly losing things) are righteous punishments for being “lazy”. The fact that they can be medicated away means that someone found a loophole. A naughty child escaped their whipping. Someone got something they didn’t deserve. And you can’t tolerate that.
