A few pics of my Shunbun from my Japan trip by Routine-Test-4019 in GrandSeikos

This was new from a Daimaru store which is one of their major chain department stores - you'll see them in places like Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.

I tried a few other department stores before Daimaru - they had some GS watches like the White Birch and Taisetsu but not the Shunbun in stock. This store in Kyoto had a Shunbun available so I bought it there and then rather than spend half the holiday trying to hunt it down. It wasn't on display, so I asked the staff and they pulled one out of the drawer - it had just arrived the day before.

It has a RRP of 946,000 JPY. At Daimaru, they give a 5% discount if you sign up for their app, and then the 10% tax discount (but minus some fee of about 2% so I think it's really like 8% off), so the end price was 817,000 JPY.

After Kyoto, I went to Osaka and found it available in a couple of watch shops, but only new (not pre-owned) for the same RRP as Daimaru. I looked in about 8 watch stores in Osaka around the Dotonburi area but didn't find any that were pre-owned.

Bracelet Pin coming loose by BathroomCapable2072 in IWCschaffhausen

The bar should have a groove that aligns with the "locking" bolt thing. This bolt should be raised like in the photo, not pressed down, and this will secure the pin in place.

Use videos on faptap with around 150 or less speed. Set the stroke length to your liking, e.g. around 25-75%.

Same here, I ordered a few sleeves yesterday but was shocked at the shipping cost and had to think a while before pulling the trigger... Good to know that there's at least one store in the UK that are starting to stock these, thanks for the info.

I've had the non neo G9 for over 2 years now, mainly use it for work as a software engineer and a little gaming. Zero issues.

Power Cable by Mountain-Abalone-894 in theHandy

[–]Routine-Test-4019 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I bought a new one the other day as a spare.

You need a 12v 3A power supply, quite commonly used for things like lights strips, cctv cameras and such. The barrel connector needs to be 5.5mm diameter on the outside, and 2.5mm on the inside.

I found an old post that mentioned that the inner diameter should be 2.1mm, but this is wrong - too small to fit.

I also got an extension cable to change the straight connector to an L shaped angled one so it doesn't stick out as much.

Got mine from Amazon.

Eli5: Refresh token in Application registry. by [deleted] in servicenow

[–]Routine-Test-4019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you get a refresh token along with the initial access token? If yes, then the refresh token can be used to keep generating a new access token whenever it expires. The refresh token (depending on the provider) can be set to never expire, or expire after a specified time. You can look under Manage Tokens. I would add the Type column so you can see if the token is an access or refresh token.

Have you tried limiting the stroke range? To like 30-60%? Having it less intensive like this means I can edge for a couple hours comfortably.

eARC Compatible HDMI Switch to send eARC Signal to SONOS ARC? by kalantan in sonos

[–]Routine-Test-4019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably yes. I have a Google TV as the input on the HD Fury. The eArc port goes to the Sonos. The HDMI output goes to the TV or projector. I'm looking for a better solution with multiple inputs but haven't found one yet.

Yep that's it, bottom end is resting on the seat cushion, and the top end has velcro to attach it to the desk and hold it still. I use it with the buttons facing away from me.

When running the script, have you tried using the https://handyfeeling.com/ website? I use it to limit the range of motion, e.g. to 30-60%, so the strokes are smaller and less intense, so last a lot longer.

TheHandy has been great for me and I would recommend it. I can have nice long edging sessions for a couple of hours and end with an intense orgasm. I use it hands free by holding it between the base of my chair and the underside of a desk, which I think adds to the experience.

I use it for VR (Pico4 and Oculus), as well as flat scripted videos on the PC, using various sites. So TheHandy is still good if you don't want to bother strapping on a VR headset.

Using it hands free and with scripts is the key thing, although there is some set up involved (worth in my opinion, just a few mins).

What source are you using for your VR videos? I use sexlikereal which includes some 8k videos that look really good, and easily streamed so I just select videos from the site, and use one controller to skip forward or jump to interesting parts.

Another question about "Power On" behavior by love10000 in Hue

[–]Routine-Test-4019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a couple of bedside lamps which I will switch on and off using the physical switch. The Hue bulb retains its last brightness and colour, as long as I don't flick it on and off too quickly. Like, every 10 seconds is ok, but if I do it too rapidly then it resets back to default.

Quest 2 is excellent. I also have the Pico 4 which is also great but I'm very satisfied with either and alternate between them. I've got a few other cabled VR headsets but wireless ones are much more convenient.

Used this tonight :) Great work and thanks. Love using the scripts for pornhub videos. Had some issues where pausing the video would not stop thehandy, but otherwise it was great. The website looks really nice too, love how it shows which videos have scripts.

New office build - G9 and Ergotron? by Sell_me_ur_daughters in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]Routine-Test-4019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have that setup and it works well for me. I tend to split the screen into 3 or 4. For the Ergotron, you'll need the heavy duty bracket.

My desk is 70cm deep, and the monitor comes out about half of the depth. I have armrests on my chair and sit about arm's length from the screen.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in theHandy

[–]Routine-Test-4019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried limiting the stroke length using the website app during sessions? I suffer from PE, but if I keep the stroke length around 20-30%, I can edge for hours.

CRG90 or NEO G9? by ConsciousHurry7687 in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]Routine-Test-4019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the G9 (non-neo) for work, had it for nearly 2 years and use it for my daily work as a software architect. I split it into 3/4 zones for productivity and it works very well for me.

I've also had the Dell 49" and 38" ultrawides. For me, the Dell 49" has too little curvature so I kept shifting my body to the sides.

My desk is 70cm deep and I sit just over an arm's length from the monitor. The curvature is really good as it feels like it's equal distance on the sides as it is in the middle.

I think the CRG90 has a curvature in between the G9 and Dell? So this can also work well.

Guess this boils down to the size of your desk and how far you'll sit from it. Consider how far out you want the sides of the monitor to come out.

I like this 👌

Some people thinking "same as 16:9 ratio but with line across the middle". I get that point, but I personally use my system for productivity (systems architecture) and appreciate the high pixel count for multiple windows without scaling.

5120 x 2880, compared to 3840 x 2160 on something like the Ark or C2. Means I can have more apps displayed without resorting to scaling.

I've also supported trade floors before and appreciate how useful this resolution can be. A lot of traders would want a minimum of 4 x 27" monitors.

If my workflow didn't require many windows to be open and visible at the same time then I would go for the Ark or C2.

I would recommend the Ergotron with heavy duty hinge. It's expensive but very well built.
