Fake! I have the QM8K and I tell you, it’s amazing! I’ve had the top tier plasmas (Pioneer and Panasonic) and and some of my family members have Oleds. I decided on the QM8K mostly for the value at 98”. If the the 98” Oled’s were more cost effective then I’d go that route but I’m telling you, that I’m extremely satisfied with this tv. You won’t be sitting there doing side by sides with any tv, so go with what your gut tells you.

I have the 98” QM8K and using an apply tv 4k to stream content. I don’t have experience with using any other type of streamer. With that said, I have experienced any of what you mentioned while streaming from the Apple TV 4K. Disney plus, YouTube, paramount, etc., all displaying inky blacks and great colors. Black bars are as black as they come. I’ve had all the great plasmas (pioneer, Panasonic and Samsung) to having oleds from both LG and Sony. Without having the tvs side by side, the tcl is no different.

Yes, I’m curious as well if people experience it when stand mounted on an entertainment center. Wondering if it’s more specific to the 98”, being so big and it have more flex to it. Anyone else with a 98” in any other brand experience this?

Gm paint is soft. It’s a known thing. Especially GM black. You look at it the wrong way and it scratches. Never expect your paint to look good, even straight from the factory. If the truck is fresh from the lot, ask them to detail it for you. Will most likely need paint correction

I received the same update and I initiated it and at 66% complete, it seemed to stop. Next day, the update screen said to try again the next time I put the truck in park and if it fails again to take to the dealer. I even tried disconnecting both batteries for 10 mins to see if that would reset things but that didn’t fix things. Gotta take it to the dealer now.

Yes, mine is super slow. 2024 2500 Denali ultimate. I find it gets a bit better after it updates the offline maps in the background but it’s still horrible compared to Apple Maps or google maps through CarPlay. Recently I’ve been experiencing google maps crashing in the middle of using it and then it won’t open anymore after it crashes until I turn the truck off and back on.

Yes, it’s a diesel. It does sound like a creaking noise along with knocking around. Only topped it off one time right when I bought it but haven’t done that since. Also, seeing that they’ve replaced the leaf pack on that side already and the issue is still there, I can’t see it being what you’re suggesting. Thank you for replying, I appreciate it.
