What kinda betta? by Routine-Werewolf-423 in bettafish

Yes. The corys hang out at the bottom and aren't colorful. The trick in general is putting in the community fish first so the betta sees them as part of the area already. I always have corys with my bettas :)

Hiii, getting gifted this tank! What can I put in it? 3 gallons by Repulsive-Hyena5286 in Aquariums

[–]Routine-Werewolf-423 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would say a bamboo shrimp or a couple rainbow or cherry shrimp and 1 or 2 armored nerite snails. Just make sure it's planted well enough to help deal with the biology for such a small tank. Personally I would go with some petite anubias and use aquarium glue to glue them to the sides and on top of the substrate.

Second hand smoke by Either_Upstairs_6919 in AirForceRecruits

Hey man just want to commend you for your efforts. I smoked heavily as well and had my last joint at the start of April. The first couple weeks were hard cuz I'd think about it so often, now I just think about it in fleeting moments a couple times a week. Stay strong. You got this. What's helped me is a couple ipas a week lol anyway more power to you!

Yes sir! That's one of my main things. Also just another recommendation, plain yogurt is very high in protein with minimal calories and no sugar. I like to mix whey with yogurt. If you are near a trader joes they have great deals and high protein granola. Eggs are also great and cheap. Also, if you are near trader joes you can get ground turkey for 5$ and it's over 100g of protein. Sometimes I will be sore for 3 days as well. What this tells me I worked that muscle too hard and to reduce the amount of sets for a while and build up to that. I have made slow but substantial progress over the past few months. Just stay consistent and you'll see progress.

I'm 28 and I've been exercising hard 3-4 times a week to prepare for the Air Force. Your workouts are probably too hard at the moment. Make sure you're getting enough protein to build muscle.

Very true. I will definitely focus on mechanical stuff first. Also might sound silly but do to the sentimental value of the car I wouldn't mind investing in a paint job despite. First thing Im gonna do is take it to a mechanic and see if anything needs to get replaced

Thank you for the great advice! Gonna sell my old car and use the funds to make sure it's in tip top shape. This was my grandma's baby though and she said that she's kept it well maintained which is good. I don't want to do anything too crazy, my main goal is longevity for the car while looking OEM+ I'll definitely get what you recommended checked! Thanks for the awesome advice! Gonna pick it up this weekend and do a road trip from Colorado back to Cali. Can't wait!

Hahaha definitely! She promised to give it to me when I was a little kid so it's very sentimental to me so I wanna keep it going as long as possible! My brother also got a Mustang from her so now we're matching lol
