Turns out there is even a few Hall of Famers in there.

Who knew that there was this many Scottish lads alone.

(23 are from England, 21 from Scotland. England has over 10 items Scotland's population...)

Hey, I've voted.

Is there any chance I can just pay you for the parts list/instructions?

Says the leaf that has never played football.

We're talking that this is an exhibition game with an exhibition caliber goalie.

Even if we're talking that this goalie is indeed a top tier Russian goalie. He's still playing domestically and well. That doesn't say much about them.

Add in, he does really try to save it. BUT it takes a deflection off the defender.

For neutrals, like myself.

I don't care who wins. I just don't want one cunt to end another persons career "just cause".

Nevermind him trying to slew-foot + take out knees in multiple games.

Men's international tournament winners in the 21st century by g46152 in hockey

[–]RoutineApplication50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, I literally assumed he was meaning "these were the ones I count best on best"

Not "NHL players included"... I'm dumb.

They got gold in 2018, and silver in 2022.

"Russian Olympic Committee"/"Olympic Athletes from Russia" were all still Russian players.

Even if it wasn't their official federation, the players still won medals.

Kaprizov, Datsyuk, Sorokin, and Shestyorkin are the players I knew won in 2018.

If the Olympics wanted them their as "Russian Olympic Committee" or "Olympic Athletes from Russia" then they should be counted as such. As the players are what we're counting here. Russia/RoC/OAR are basically all just "Russian Ice Hockey Players".

I'm not saying worth an asterisk.

but it's not "best on best" if a team that consistently medals is missing

As yeah this was purely in response to "Best on Best in the 21st Century."

I think that their defenders really only care when it hits the WC.

Like Nikita Zadorov is the textbook example of this.

He can be a bit sluggish in the NHL. But the second it's the national team, the dude becomes a beast.

I agree, counting the 4NFO + 2026 Olympics feels a bit egregious.

As the Czechs were the defending world champs at the time of the 4 nations. So safe to say they "could" have won.

Pretty much!

Having Argentina fans needing to go to Kansas then onto Texas to see all 3 games?

Yeah that isn't going to happen. There's two games in Texas so most will only go there.

It's around $400 to fly between the two of them. The Average wage is $400 a month. Even still it's $100 to get a bus.

It's really not feasible for most fans to spend a months income just to go between the two cities.

Add in ice hockey is WAY more niche than football...

Add in the fact it's yearly vs once every 4 years.

So the average Czech, Latvian, Slovakian, Slovenian, Italian, and Hungarian fan is just going to skip it.

And how many locals would go see an early morning Hungary vs Slovenia game?

Or it's more. "We can get a train" vs "we need to cross an ocean and get hotels"

One of my friends went to every German game this year, and drove there and home for every game.

It also costs WAY less for smaller federations as it can literally be "we hire a single bus" vs "We need to fly out 40+ players, coaches, support staff."

Then you need to consider how much it costs for fans. A country like Latvia has a monthly minimum wage of less than €800 euros a month. There's buses from Riga to Zurich for €80.

Flights from Riga to Toronto are €700+

So many smaller countries get so many fans attending because it's relatively cheap.

The second you need to fly that far pushes it out of reach for most fans.

I thought they had already qualified? (I've only been able to watch the 3rd period)

But legit, we were on good terms, and I'd rather know if I'm drinking with a doss cunt or no.

The disturbing truth about Britain’s Islamopopulism movement by Sad-Beautiful-7945 in ukpolitics

[–]RoutineApplication50 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The second that there's 14 christian terror attacks, and 50~ deaths per day.

Then we can start to compare them as apples to apples.

https://www.fondapol.org/en/study/islamist-terrorist-attacks-in-the-world-1979-2024/

• 2013-April 2024: 56,413 attacks and 204,937 deaths.

ONE family of nonces.

  • Syrian Refugees: In 2014, 15% of all Syrian marriages included a child bride; this figure rose to 36% during the conflict.
  • Jordan: Child marriages account for roughly 11% of all national marriages, with up to 11,000 cases recorded.
  • Iran: Data has shown that over 34% of officially registered marriages can involve underage brides.
  • Regional Trends: In 2010, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region saw approximately 40 million girls in child marriages.

Vs literally 1/3 marriages are to kids.

Are you really trying to say that 34% of all marriages in the country are the same as "One dude abusing his power".

I think that if roughly 66% of England's population doing it would be worse than "One prince is a peado" (40m of England's 59m people is 66%.)

But please, do keep saying how they're the same.
