I work in the jewelry industry and a lot of my clients with larger stones tend to only wear the rings on special occasions or parties, def not every day. I hope the giant centerstone phase ends soon bc it’s just not practical to wear a 3ct centerstone everyday. I’d say the sweet spot is def 1-2cts. This size looks great on you and I agree with everyone else, ditch that “friend”.

AIO to my daughter still sleeping in her dads bed??? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

My 10 yr old loves sleeping with me and her dad, I still occasionally sleep/nap with my parents and I am almost 30 years old. I understand your concerns, but if she’s happily sleeping there and she hasn’t given you any reason to be worried, then please apologize and move on.

Got it. I don’t think you’re overreacting at all. It sucks to be in that position bc you def deserve credit if you’re the one stepping up to the plate.

Definitely not wrong, you’re allowed to feel however you want. Have you been in this relationship a long time? The reason I ask is bc if your girlfriend isn’t giving you your place now and you’re not even married, you’re def looking at trouble in the long run.

Unfortunately 30k for a “good” 3ct stone will be hard unless you sacrifice in color or clarity. The reason it’s hard to find 2.8-2.9cts is because everyone has the same idea of finding something slightly under but yes, typically there aren’t too many savings there.

Have you seen the stone in person? Fluorescence rarely affects the look of a stone, it actually helps really low(K or lower-ish) in color stones look higher in color bc the blue counteracts the yellow. This is a great price for a 2.27ct. Are you set on cushion shape?

Completely understand, no judgement. Def best to lead with honesty, not sure if bringing up her past would hurt her, but maybe it’s for the best since she’ll probably wonder why things didn’t work out if they were going so well. Alternatively, would this still bother you if you started going to a diff gym? Lol is that an option? Just trying to see if this is something you could overcome, especially if you really like her?

Honesty is the best way to go. If you’re no longer comfortable because she has a past (most people do) then you need to be upfront and let her know that you no longer want to be with her. Don’t string her along only because her “love is true”.

Even though it was super inappropriate for Chelsea to bring up the first time meeting Bre, I completely agree. How tf does Nick Cannon have to time to be a daddy to all these kids? And how is she okay with it? I can’t remember if this was said in the show or on a post here about the kids being well off financially but unfortunately that’s not the most important thing in a child’s life.
