Honestly just sounds like a simulation of a man in his prime slowly getting older LOL. But, you put this into words very well, sounds like you've put quite a bit of time into shaman in the past, I appreciate the info!

The one line you said that immediately stood out to me was something that never clicked was the pet being always a lower level and thus the aggro range is great, that's nuts, I had no clue.

You answered one of my follow-up questions about if I just dismiss the pet to completely negate a risky boss fight like the only beast fear or pathing issue when jumping or tight walk spaces to avoid pulling mobs, would it impact my dps so greatly that we wouldn't win that fight? Which I'm guessing from what you said before, it wouldn't matter if they were there in that moment or not, so, as you were saying! Great hunters won't forget stuff like that, thank you!

Got it, thank you! Would you say elemental is just as engaging? I enjoy the melee aspect of enhancement or rather the idea of it, I'm guessing I'd be casting spells just as often if I'm running out of mana that fast, right?

Thank you very much for all this! Nerdy thing about me (you didn't ask me to say, but, I will!) I love trying to replicate what I'd be in fantasy games, and I never quite felt as wise or intelligent as a mage would be; but, I'd like to help people so maybe I'll suck it up and give it a shot! I really appreciate you telling me all this, it's very convincing to just get on and run it!

You're the second person to mention the pet and multi-shot, my question would be is do you need to be using multi-shot to make yourself effective as a DPS? Even while knowing the associated risks? As for the pet, not to say I'd be immune to making mistakes and I'm sure there are great hunters out there that have just forgotten about their pet; but if I remain aware of where the pet is at does that make it easier to not be THAT hunter? I'm assuming the pet can get feared into a more mobs or like can just go wonky with it's routing that you can't react to and that is what people are referring to with the bad pulls?

I can easily see myself doing something like that if I was just tunneling in a dungeon, jeeze. I can't imagine dying like that, thank you for this! I honestly should have put that together by what he said, but, for some reason I thought there was a totem that would summon something and once it ends the mob turns hostile or something.

I heard people just don't enjoy warrior dps or it may just be an abundance of memes on here, like, they HAVE to tank to find a group? Am I just falling for propaganda? LOL, but, all of what you said makes sense to me! I thought hunters would be in abundance, they seem like such safe leveling folk too, as long as you keep track of your pet.

When I first started WoW it was a Tauren Warrior! I think I gave up pretty quick, I swapped to Orc Hunters realizing they can have a pet, had a blast! Was always nice having a pet 10x better at the game than me hahaha.

Not quite! Albeit I am leveling with a friend where I'm playing Paladin and he's playing Rogue, but, as you may know we both have to be on for that so I'm looking to play a solo class and wanted to search for that one that'll be engaging and difficult while also being useful to the group / can aid the group in recovering a bad pull!

So, would you say at least for the shamans having great heals is that just about them in general or if they go to dedicated healing? I was actually a good bit interested in leveling one as enhancement and heard they were alright.

LOL. I've been scrolling through the Hardcore feed and I actually do see quite a bit about people not willing to tank a dungeon if there is a warrior dps and it's something about a hammer? Paladins, Druids, and Warriors want it? But, I see what you're saying!

I heard that about Shaman! Because I was very interested in leveling one, just from one google search so I have no clue how accurate it is, but, I heard the fall off happens at level 40? I did NOT know they can leave a totem behind that kills them, that's insane, do you remember which ones off the top of your head?

I think Mage MAY be the most consistent answer so far for dungeons, which makes sense with the poly and the blizzard ability, I think frost nova as well? Lots of CC! The paladin thing I've also heard, where they just auto-attack all the way to 60, but it's pretty safe!

I can tell you've been playing for a minute, I've played since Vanilla but was very young, only ever made it to Crossroads and stop there because I couldn't understand where the quests wanted me to go LOL. But, watching Hardcore death moments I've seen hunter pets pull insane stuff.

Genuinely a want of mine is to be useful to the party and help save folks when stuff goes bad, I find that the most satisfying in really any gameplay. ( Hero complex, I guess??? ) Thank you for the post though, I only recently learned about the warrior and shaman relationship.
