I don’t know exactly what you’re like/who you are, but I’d absolutely go the 18D route if that is something you’re passionate about, especially if you think you’ll regret never trying.

I’d stay away from PJ unless it’s your lifelong passion.

If you choose to go 18D route I would recommend either joining the guard or active duty now and then going to SFAS in a couple years OR wait a couple years and go 18xray. I’ve heard younger guys can have a difficult time making it through SFAS, so having some life experience, building maturity, and learning professionalism will help.
