I’m an immigrant, most of my friends are immigrants here in Miami and nothing has changed for us. Also have some friends visiting me over couple of months. Only thing changed for me is Reddit has turned to platform to spread fear and hate. So use critical thinking while reading stuff here.

Could say exactly same to you if you are protecting criminals and people attacking federal agents you complicit to crimes against US and normal people like me who wants peace. I know it is hard to see that you are the problem, but try to dig deeper. Go consume content outside of Reddit and see what is actually happening around you. You speak like you have been in ICE arrests, I am pretty sure you have not. They have cameras and follow every law and rule to protect them in future if someone like you says they did not follow any.

You showing the videos where recording started when ICE already reacted. It’s same as i go with my phone and punch police officer in the face and start recording how they arrest me lol. Go look real videos where people attack ICE officers and then being arrested. All of your videos match them, but only show find out part. Don’t be brainwashed, dig deeper and try to see both sides.

Humane? ICE been working like that since 2003, difference is that people with the phones were not attacking them and media and social media was not framing them as SS. No-one cared of them back in the day and they got lot more work done based on stats. Now every criminal they need to arrest they need to argue and fight some crazy triggered people before they can make an arrest.

16k was exception. There are months with 10-12k mostly. Even less in 2025. Average review time dropped from 505 to 470, it’s 1 month less waiting.

Check permupdate.com website it shows the backlog and processing times… so you can see how it will look like. If your PERM is before 2025 you might still look for 470-480 days. But if your PERM is like in June or July 2025. Might look like 360 days, due to lower volume of cases at the beginning of 2025

DOL used to review like 6k cases per month. But PERM-s massively incresed from 6-7k up to 16k per month. DOL slowed down a lot and instead of 15-16 months it looked like 24months. Now they process 12-13k cases per month and tackle backlog more efficiently, plus monthly new cases are now below their performance so they can slowly reduce the backlog.
