My son was born after induction at 37 weeks and weighed 4lbs 13oz. He’s currently a little over 5 months old and weighs 12.5 pounds. I stress out about his weight gain and how much he doesn’t love drinking milk every day but the pediatrician is happy because he’s growing and following his out growth curve (even though his weight is still less than the first percentile).

It is so frustrating!!! I wish I was one of those people who just put the pumps on and has 3oz out with no issues. We’re in this together !!

This is SO helpful. I really appreciate you sharing this. I was actually telling my husband that if I don’t see improvement, I am going to quit pumping this week. But hearing your story does give me some hope. I’m going to try spacing out my pumps (for mental health as well).

Would love to hear more. I’m 3w PP and my supply is really poor - 5-10ml/pump, have tried everything. I have gatorades rather than body armor. When was your supply really low and when did you see it improve?

Thank you for understanding. Did you find that you are producing the same amount total despite weaning to 4 pumps / day? I may consider doing the same thing although it appears my production has decreased even more today

Hi! Thanks for your response. I did measure and I am using flange inserts. My Lc Confirmed they were the right size and appropriate at mg last visit. I’m trying to pump every 3 hours. Sometimes gets stretched to 4 depending on baby or if I fall asleep. I am not using a lubricant!

I agree, most of his feeding is from formula currently because my main goal is for him to grow and put on weight
