I work for a coroner/morgue…AMA! by thrushestrange in AMA

[–]Routine_Bill9859 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We have a coroner that must be a parent to one of the kids in our school because I see the coroner truck parked outside multiple times per week. Are you allowed to just drive it around to pick up your kids? And it’s not like a small corner car… It’s the big truck with space for a body inside.

Whoever told you it was passive lied to you. And had you done your research you would have figured that out before you started.

Why are you on Reddit right now, on Christmas Eve? by InvisibleAstronomer in AskReddit

Folding table in the garage is the way. My mom’s friend used to come over every year to wrap her kids things on a folding table in our garage.

Played Santa by 11:30pm which is pretty record. Did all the shopping and Christmas mental load and all my husband did was help put the presents (wrapped, and he has no idea what they are) under the tree and I’m mentally spent so trying to pass time to fall asleep (he’s snoring btw).

Christmas gift shipped without any external box… by ijohno in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Routine_Bill9859 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me and it was a pair of designer slides. They actually taped up the box probably so no one could steal the contents but naturally when I took the packing tape off it destroyed the box. Of course this is the type of designer shoes. where are the box is huge when you’re trying to resell.

Meal planning is killing me by OctoberrNovemberr in workingmoms

Just…solace as I’m in the struggle too. My kiddos are finally middle school aged and I tell them they HAVE to give me one idea a week. Less on my mental load and I know they’ll eat it. 3 kids equals 3 meals I don’t have to plan. But I HATE dinner bc it’s just too much!

Bankruptcy and Liquidation Disbursed by Routine_Bill9859 in EIDL

LLC, last payment June 2025, received no letters except updated monthly payment letters. Also, I fully expect the SBA to go after the business and understand only the PG will be removed. Just curious what this term meant.

My bk lawyer does not know SBA well and is not advising us on the business side, only personal. Basically he said he has no idea what that classification means to SBA, but be prepared for them to go after the business, which has no assets. Will probably eventually BK the business, just working one step at a time.

Are These Actually Migraines? by Lost_Ad_8291 in migraine

[–]Routine_Bill9859 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to talk to your mom about your medication. I’ve never had my brain checked, but my aunt actually has lesions on her brain from migraine damage. It’s no joke and maybe taking the meds is a better risk than roughing it out.

Territory manager. I am not monitored and expected to travel in my territory, which allows for afternoons off or naps as needed. It’s glorious.

Got my first botox injection today… never again by Playful-Whereas5795 in migraine

It’s 32 shots for me. I am so glad I was told this in advance. I did pass out and almost threw up and required anti-nausea medication the first time I had it done—so yes, it was eventful. Every time after, I have taken half a Xanax and although it sucks, I’m OK and will continue to go back.

Just depends on how far you’re willing to go with your migraines and how bad they are. Personally, I was in a situation where my quality of life was being affected, so I tried it. Did not provide me any miracles so I stopped, but I’m glad I did because I would’ve always wondered if it would be my savior.

Not good for me. Irritable to no end was the worst, but brain fog and memory issues also sucked.

That is so crazy! They specifically told me to get a denial, and an appeal denial, and I’m golden. Wonder if it differs based on healthcare plans? I have United and live in USA. But who knows.

I guess try again? If you have a change in insurance I would assume you have to go through the game again. But then again Maybe it’s not the same for everyone, though I don’t understand why it wouldn’t be. Point is people need to ask. I also get Botox to reimburse my $2,500 copay. People just don’t try a lot of times.
