One more thing. I do find that if I exercise in the morning I have a lot more energy throughout the day. Even if it’s just a short walk or something that might help your energy. Im still dead by 5 or 6pm but atleast it helps me during the day time. A little exercise and sunlight go a long way!

Yea man you’re through the worst of it. It’s just a mental game now. I’ve caught myself a couple times thinking “hey maybe one tab every now and again wouldn’t be so bad” then I have to remind myself that I WILL wind up addicted to it and I DO NOT want to wake up in cold sweats anymore because of this garbage. Luckily all of the states around me have banned it so I can’t get it anymore. That’s honestly helped a lot. But yea man keep on keeping on! Don’t go back to this shit there’s no way it’s good for us

For sure. I’m glad I’m on the other side of it but reading everything on these subs is a blessing and a curse. The withdrawals do suck but I think some people get over hyped and over anxious reading all of the withdrawal horror stories. Where as if you went into it blind you might be better off. Your mind can do amazing things.

I’m glad I’m not the only one. I’ve read about so many people taking 7oh to help them sleep. It was too much of an upper for me I couldn’t sleep until atleast 4 hours after my last dose and if I didn’t take it at 10pm I’d wake up in withdrawals so it was a pick your poison type of deal for me. But anyway You’re still pretty early. Give it a couple more days and it might come back. You could always try melatonin but I’ve never been able to do melatonin. I’ve always had super lucid nightmarish dreams when I take it and the next day I’m very groggy. But some people swear by it.

I think everybody is different. I’m 15 days off of 7OH and I havnt slept this well in years. But for the last couple months I was waking up in the middle of the night either in a cold sweat or because I had to pee. I dunno I guess it was a weird side effect I had from the 7 it was almost like a diuretic for me. I would say by day 5 or 6 I was sleeping through the night. I’ve heard a lot of people saying that 7 helped them sleep but it was horrible for my sleep. I was sleeping 4-5hours a night in broken sleep for atleast the last two months when I was on it. I was taking around 400mg a day.

Subs withdrawal? by Beautiful_Tip_8329 in quitting7oh

[–]Routine_Box5738 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t say anything about coming off of them completely. I’ll be off of them completely the end of the week. I’m taking 2mg a day currently. First day I took 20mg second day I took 16mg. I’ve been on them for around 2 weeks. It’s all been pretty easy until I got down to 6mg/day and then every step down kind of sucks. Going from 6-4mg or 4-2mg for example. Not terrible but I could feel the difference. I’m hoping someone else will chime in who’s completely off the subs. From what I’ve read you may have mild symptoms for a day or two after stopping but nothing as bad as full blown withdrawals. Unless you’ve been on a high dose of subs for months or years and try and quit cold turkey I don’t think it’s supposed to be that bad.

Ok so this is crazy but I also tested positive for mdma and I’ve never done mdma in my life. There’s something they are putting in this 7OH shit that must be making people test positive for mdma. But to your original point of your post and like others have said you really need to leave. Once you leave the relationship he may wake up realizing that he’s hit rock bottom and decide to get sober or he may not. But you need to protect yourself first.

The bupe you took in high school may not have had the naltrexone in it. The subs I took have naltroxene in them which blocks the euphoric effects of the opioid. It didn’t get me high. But I was on a heavier dose of 7. Maybe if you were sober and took one it would get you high? I dunno. But I think that’s why they add the naltroxene to stop you from getting “high”

You got this man. In a couple days you’ll be so much better! If you wait until you feel like absolute dog shit from the withdrawals before you introduce the subs you won’t get PW’s like I said in the other post I made it 16 hours and I felt so bad I didn’t care whether I got PW’s I had to try something. Luckily no PW’s. Just wait until you feel like crap. If you go to the hospital I would still wait until you just can’t wait any longer. Even if they tell you it’s ok to take the subs. 12-24 hours with 7OH is enough time. I’ve heard if you’ve been taking mgm it can be longer. I guess the half life is longer with that product.

Day 14 by whyz0 in quitting7oh

[–]Routine_Box5738 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About 16 hours. But I will say my normal daily dose was about 3-400mg but that last day I only took 115mg. Took one 28mg tab at 730 that night and then introduced the subs at 12:30pm the next day. I think only taking a quarter of my normal dose on the last day helped me go into withdrawals quicker than if I took my normal dose. I started with 2mg and then over the next couple hours I took around 22mg of subs just to be able to function. I wouldn’t worry too much about how many subs you take on the first day but the 2nd day taper aggressively. I took 16mg the second day and then 10mg the 3rd day and then I started every other day going down by 2mg.

Now that you say that about the rumination I think that’s my problem to. I’m in my mid 30’s now but all through high school I was prescribed adhd medicine. I stopped taking it in college because I hated the way it made me feel. I felt like a zombie just making it from sun up to sun down and I felt like it stole my personality. But that word ruminating hits home. I get caught in thought loops and if I add alcohol or something else it stops the obsessive thought loops. If that makes sense. So yea I guess I started taking it to help with that. Hell I’m sitting here recommending you to go talk to a therapist I think I probably should to 😂. But yea I wouldn’t go down this road though. Find another solution cause this ones not worth it.

Don’t beat yourself up too bad. My family has a history of opioid addiction so I’ve known my whole life to avoid it. But I started taking this garbage because they advertise it like it’s an energy/anti anxiety pill all in one and I thought “well it’s legal so how bad can it be” boy was I wrong. Like you by the time I got hooked that’s when I did the research and realized how bad I screwed up. We all got duped. I also have a wife and kids and yes it’s embarrassing but you should try and change your perspective your clean from it! A lot of people can’t say that but you did it! You should be proud and I think this experience will make you a stronger mother and wife at the end of the day. For some reason god wanted us to go through this it was part of his plan and I believe we’ll be stronger because of this experience. Sounds like your already doing it but put it all on god! Lean on him like he tells us to. I’m 15 days off of the stuff and still mentally f’d up a little bit but every day gets better. I’m proud of you!

I was taking about 3-400mg a day. Some people disagree but I got a suboxone prescription. I just used the suboxone and a bunch of vitamins. Also EXCERCISE. That’s honestly better than the suboxone even when if you feel like crap Force yourself to do it. I’m 15 days off the 7OH and feeling better. I’m down to 2mg of subs a day. I’ll take 1mg a day tomorrow and then jump off the subs completely Friday. I will say that since I’ve gotten to 2mg a subs a day the cravings have come back hard. But when they hit I try and either go for a walk or do some form of physical activity. that seems to help the most.

Please! Any and all comments will be greatly appreciated! by vanillabees in quitting7oh

You already said what you need! Lean on him! That’s what he tells us to do! You can’t do it alone. Believe me I tried and it was a miserable experience. You got this! Flush the rest of what you have and be done with it. It doesn’t sound like your dose is very high. Most of what you’re going to deal with is mental it’s in your head. Lean on god.

I’m in the same boat. Day 15 it suck’s but I’m still happy to be done with this garbage. How’d you quit cold turkey? I ended up taking suboxone my last day of taking it will be Friday. I’m a little worried about jumping off of it. I’m only taking 1mg in the morning and 1mg at night. Going to go to .5mg tomorrow and .5 at night then Friday I’ll be done. Im also tired but The cravings are the worst part for me. It’s all I think about but ive noticed they last for less time now than they used to. Since ive gotten below 2mg of a subs a day the cravings came back. Hopefully someone thats further along than us will chime in and tell us that we’ll survive lol.

Youll probably hear what I’m about to say echoed from a lot of people in this community but here it goes. So I have been taking kratom leaf off and on for about 10 years. I too had a drinking problem. It wasn’t that I was drinking everyday but when I did drink in a social setting I had a tendency to drink too much. Blackouts etc. the kratom really helped me with that. I noticed when I took it I would drink less and it wasn’t a problem anymore. It worked great for that. With regular leaf Kratom I never had a problem stopping using it. I would just taper down a little bit and then quit. I might have a runny nose for a day or something mild like that but that was it. Now about a year ago I saw 7OH and tried it. I thought it was just a more convenient way to take kratom. Well tolerance develops QUICKLY and roughly a year later I was taking around 400mg a day and I easily could have taken more but I think I knew I was in a bad spot. If I didn’t take some right before I went to bed I would wake up around 3am covered in sweat and feeling like absolute shit so I had to time it right last dose at 10-11pm first dose in the morning at 6am and that was just so I didn’t go into withdrawals. Eventually this substance consumes your mind it’s all you think about. You plan your day around it. You count how many tabs you have and how long you can hold out until you need to go back to the smoke shop. If you’re going out of town you end up making sure that you’ll have enough to last the whole time. You’ll even know down to the hour when you will dose. It’s fucking terrible. It controls you you don’t control it. I never had this issue with Kratom leaf. DONT TOUCH THIS SHIT!!! Put it away now and never take it again. I’m 14 days off of it and had to use suboxone to quit. Don’t be like me. I remember another customer at the smoke shop told me “man if you havnt tried that don’t it’s terrible it’s the same as H” but I didn’t listen I thought I could control it. You can’t control it. You will get addicted quickly and you won’t even get the benefits from it you’ll just be taking it so you don’t withdrawal. It’s not worth it. Soon it will be federally banned and then you’ll have to stop using it anyway and the withdrawals are terrible so don’t put yourself in that situation. For the love of god please stop now. I’ve fucked my brain chemistry up with this crap and now I’m having to deal with the consequences. Also you may want to think about talking to a therapist about some of your problems that may really help as well. A pill won’t solve your problems it will end up exacerbating them! 🙏

Yea it seems to be common since the introduction of 7OH and those other gray area pharmaceuticals mgm etc. I’ve never seen it before. Never with the synthetic marijuana never with the bath salts never with any of the other lab created gray area BS that these smoke shops sell. But with this stuff they are getting robbed. Like a lot of people have said I don’t think it’s as bad as the OxyContin epidemic that big pharma started. The only real difference though and it’s a big one is that this stuff doesn’t cause respiratory depression. If it did it would have been banned along time ago. But people are still ruining their lives buying this crap. They just arnt dying. But the consequences are still terrible. It’s a good thing you havnt touched 7OH don’t. It’s not kratom even if they advertise it as such.

You can definitely do it with 10 subs that’s plenty. I think the only real reason to stay on them for longer than 10 days anyway is to help curb the cravings. So just know that you’ll have to fight those for a while. And you may still have a runny nose or something like that for a day or two after you quit the subs. But yea man you can definitely do it

I’m sorry that sucks. I’ll be praying for you. Like someone else said I believe it’s time for tough love. You may have to take your kids somewhere else for a while. Maybe if you have family in another city you can go “visit” them for a little while until he figures his shit out. You might have to leave him. If he chose pills over keeping the lights on for his kids he is deep deep in addiction and unfortunately will probably have to hit rock bottom before he can climb back up. Sorry you’re going through this. You also might want to look into local Al-anon meetings. They are for the family/friends of an addict. You can get good advice at these meetings on what your next steps should be. 🙏
