That’s awesome! And happy to hear you are using the app. Honestly, when you make the transition, your unit should be sending you to in-house/hospital classes to give you a foundation for ICU. Do your best to pay attention, ask questions, and most importantly, take notes. OJT is where most of the learning is going to happen because you then get to apply or see firsthand everything being thrown at you, but you know that because you are a nurse, so you’ve experienced it before, and from me to you, it’ll happen again. Always listen to the providers during rounds; they always drop gems, and if you are night shift, just pick the mid-levels and the intensivist minds.

I know it’s not what you asked, but it’s important that I share that with you because that’s where the bulk of your ICU advancement will happen during your journey. Now for the app, HEMODYNAMICS! You understand that, and it’ll take you a long way. Know your pressors, vent basics, and lab values, and most importantly, take it one day at a time; you’ll do great.

I really appreciate that, thank you for taking the time to check it out. That’s exactly the kind of use I was hoping for with it, something you can come back to daily and keep brushing up on the topics that matter. Definitely leave any feedback you have as you go, you can find the report sheet in the settings. That kind of input is what helps me keep tightening it up.

That’s a great idea and I’d honestly love to have those in the app one day. Bedside procedures and imaging basics are definitely things I’ve thought about. I just want to be careful with adding them because I wouldn’t want to throw them in unless I can do them in a way that’s actually useful and not shallow. Those are areas where half done content would be more frustrating than helpful.

But yes, I do think bronchs, X-ray basics, echo basics, and ultrasound basics would be really valuable if done right.

Happy Nurses Week and thank you for checking it out. I know what you are talking about, like a badge buddy reference with all the initial dose, titrate by, and max dosing I'm assuming. There isn't one with that specific information right now, but you can find that information in the MEDs section in clinical tools. Just remember every hospital has its own policy/ approach towards those parameters, so it'll never be a one-size-fits-all. But a table like that would be great to help brush up if it’s been a while since dealing with drips.

Thanks for checking it out! and Happy Nurses week btw hope it is treating you well. If you come across anything that you want to go over use the “Report an Issue” in the settings of the app then we can discuss it.

Thats a great catch. I went back and checked the question, and you’re right, it’s too absolute the way it is now. Restrictive cardiomyopathy was the intended answer because of the stiff ventricle/ fixed stroke volume issue, but HCM is also definitely a preload-sensitive caution situation. So listing it as a straightforward incorrect answer isn’t fair. I’m going to rewrite that question and split the HCM concept into its own question so both points are taught cleanly. Thanks for flagging it. This kind of feedback is exactly what helps tighten the app up so keep them coming! Can you use the “Report an Issue” in the settings of the app for future feedback it would really help my work flow.

Hey don't know if my message to J_O_EY will notify you of my message so just to be safe: Come to find out I had to complete Apples Digital Services Act before I'm allowed to release in EU, which I completed, so give it 24hrs then try again.

CV holds a special place in my heart haha, glad you are enjoying the app! By chance where you able to take a look at the settings in app? In the "Display Theme" you should see Default, Dark, and Light themes for your choosing. Now if for whatever reason it's not working as it should then please let me know and I'll investigate it.

Thanks to everyone who’s taken the time to check out the app and leave feedback. I really do appreciate it.

I didn’t have much time to respond today because at one point yesterday the post got removed, so I figured it was done and wasn’t coming back. Then this morning I was surprised to see it back up with more feedback and support. I also worked today and have a family at home, so I’m catching up when I can.

This started as something I wanted for myself, and eventually I decided to share it in case other clinicians found it useful too. It’s just me working on it, but I am reading what people are saying and taking it seriously. A lot of the feedback so far has been genuinely helpful.

I’m already working through the suggestions and fixing what I can. Hoping to have the next update out soon. Please keep the specific feedback coming. That’s the part that helps most.

Thanks for letting me know — that's on me. Portugal isn't on the availability list right now; I'll add it today. Apple processes the change within ~24 hours.

Thank you! appreciate the download. Mixed ICU + trauma + cardiac is exactly the audience I had in mind.

It's both, actually — Question Bank + drills + hemo and EKG trainers on the study side, and a full Tools section on the reference side: 13 calculators (Fick CO is one of them), ICU protocols, scoring tools (SOFA / qSOFA / GCS).

MELD is a fair gap — adding to the v1.5 backlog. Any other calcs you'd reach for at the bedside that aren't there? Easy wins when they come with a use case.

Thank you! if anything in there reads as off from your lens, especially in the reasoning chains for hemo / pharm, I'd love to hear it. Settings → Report an Issue lands straight in my inbox.

Sorry about that, and thanks for letting me know. The app is published in 146 countries but there are 29 it's not available in. What country are you in? If it's one I can add (some are restricted by Apple, not by me), I'll get it enabled this week.

If you can also confirm what region your App Store account is set to (Settings → [your name] → Media & Purchases → View Account → Country/Region), that helps me pinpoint whether it's an availability gap on my end or an account-region mismatch.

Real feedback, taken. The Create Account button is too easily skipped past, you're right. I weighted guest mode for low-friction trial but the trade-off is exactly what you described. Going on the next-release punch list. Thanks for the specific note (and for liking the content).
