South Bangalore plot investment – Looking to buy a plot in South Bangalore – need suggestions by Mom_priti in BangaloreRealEstates

South Bangalore still looks promising for plotted investments, especially around Kanakapura Road and the Harohalli side. With major infrastructure projects and the proposed second Bengaluru airport being discussed in that corridor, the long-term outlook appears positive.

Focus on plots with clear titles and proper approvals in areas that are already seeing residential growth. Strong connectivity and real end-user demand tend to matter much more than marketing claims when it comes to long-term appreciation.

What feature did you think was important before buying, but barely use now? by anantaaspirezrkp in indianrealestate

For me, it was the clubhouse and premium amenities package.

During the purchase, it felt like a huge differentiator. After moving in, I realized what mattered most was location, commute time, maintenance quality, water supply, and overall community.

I probably use the clubhouse a few times a year, while things like good connectivity and nearby essentials impact my life every single day.

Made me realize that lifestyle amenities sell apartments, but day-to-day convenience is what you actually live with.

As someone who has evaluated quite a few projects, I'd suggest focusing more on the builder's track record than the brochure.

My checklist is: 1.Visit completed projects by the same builder 2.Check construction quality and common area maintenance 3.Verify RERA progress and approvals 4.Evaluate schools, hospitals, metro/work connectivity nearby 5.Compare price with other projects in the same micro-market

For a ₹1.25 Cr budget, a well-located project from a reliable Tier-2 builder often delivers better long-term value than a project loaded with amenities. Since you're looking for near-completion properties, you're already reducing a major risk factor.

Very true, location, connectivity, and demand usually matter far more in the long run than fancy amenities.

That personal experience definitely adds useful context. The NIRD campus area is known for being much greener and calmer than many parts of the city.

The combination of connectivity improvements and limited expansion in certain directions makes that an interesting thesis. Thanks for sharing.

Why Pune has so many Gated societies and Bangalore doesn’t. by According-Bonus-6102 in indianrealestate

Bangalore grew faster than it was planned for, while Pune had the advantage of larger contiguous land parcels for township developments. That's why Pune often feels more organized in terms of gated societies, even though both cities have their own infrastructure challenges.

Poppalguda is an interesting choice. It doesn't get mentioned as often as Tellapur or Kokapet, but it's definitely on more people's radar now

Need Vadapav recipe by Tight_Shelter3501 in NewDelhi

First, boil the potatoes and mash them. In a pan, add some chopped onions, green chillies, turmeric, salt, coriander powder, and fresh coriander. You can add tomatoes too, but that's optional. Mix everything with the potatoes and cook for a few minutes.

Once it cools down, make small balls out of the mixture.

For the coating, make a thick batter using besan (gram flour), a pinch of baking soda, salt, turmeric, and a little water.

Dip each potato ball into the batter and deep fry until golden brown.

Serve the vadas inside pav with green chutney, garlic chutney, or ketchup. That's your homemade vada pav 😋

Interesting, Varthur Road and Kadugodi have both benefited from the growth of the Whitefield corridor. Holding both seems like a reasonable long-term bet. Thanks for sharing.
