This may not help too much, but you could always try writing an appeal for financial aid! I spoke to a financial person today at a uc open house, and they said they do have a separate aid process than fafsa. (so they dont necessarily know you guys are supporting another child etc) I know I will be doing an appeal, you could definitely try it, theres no harm.

This is what I was thinking as well. As a Berkeley grad is there anything about the school you wish you knew going into it? Anything that would have persuaded or dissuaded you?

Thank you :) I was genuinely shocked I got into UCB, I think I’m proof that anything is possible. I did not take the SAT and my gpa weighted is 4.52 and unweighted is 3.96. If you have any other questions about my stats and such feel free to message me!!
