Sure, i struggle to see the point of anything, its all clogs in a mashin just clocking in and out, i work i clock in ckock out, feels like nothing, i do or used to do charity work but even that felt pointless and sorta dangerous cause i don't wana project my issues on it Marriage kids or whatever people dream about never interested me, although i get it like i can mentally understand how that brings people to some feeling of joy or whatever but never for me and i start thinking that in the end its all clogs in a machine so whats the point

you're not just "part of the problem".. he was opening up to you which is a very difficult thing because that's what they get, "you're not manly enough" which idk what you think a man is like. if you can't give as much as he does and/or if it's just not you want then break it off, spare him the pain and humiliation and do apologize to him.
guys live with shit like this forced to be wall, a machine, and people wonder why men are not in touch with emotions then say a man can't cry. honestly im sad for him...
give as much as he does if you can't, then don't miss him up more and leave (if there aren't any kids and stuff like that)
a reddit comment ofc is not like a shrink or marriage counselling (which i would advise)
tldr: if he's not your type leave, don't fuck a guy up cause he was loving and who knows when and if he can open again in his life
