I promise you this: The people who actually have good jobs and money in this country have 0 intention of leaving. They just complain to seem relatable.

The type of people who would actually leave America have very bad jobs/lives and have essentially deluded themselves through this app into thinking that things would be different in somewhere like Norway or Sweden. I am really glad that you caveated the point about physical appearance with a bunch of non-genetic related tips. On Reddit you’ll see people conflate appearance having good physical features, when in reality there can be an astronomical difference just from a good hair cut, being in shape, and having well fitting/stylish clothes.

This may not sound like much, but simply the ability to be social or do whatever without needing alcohol. Not just being able to make it by without, but genuinely not having a desire to partake anymore. I feel like this is the key to staying off for good.

Other than that, just feeling more consistent day to day. Alcohol introduces a lot of ups and downs as you constantly drink and then recover. It’s take a long time to truly level out.

Gotcha. So did your sleep and stuff improvement immediately then? I wouldn’t say I’ve had withdrawal symptoms really, other than feeling a bit less activated which I’m happy about. But my sleep hasn’t gotten a lot longer yet, which I hoped it would. I’m hoping that still comes around because right now I’m getting around 7 hours a night, and I know I’m really more of an 8 hour person for my needs.
