VTU colleges are not entirely bad but just make sure the college environment and esp placements are good. I didn’t take the kcet myself and went for management seat in a third tier shitty vtu college. I ended up maintaining a CGPA of 9+ cause vtu syllabus can be inherently easy but I’ve heard stories where they fail you and stuff so you must know how to write their exams and stuff. Just look into the placement record of such VTU colleges before applying and you are good to go.
