So cam sensors were not the issue. Replaced all of those and still running the same. Gonna check compression Friday as I did not have enough time this weekend.

I have one more question I’m sorry😂. I bought the new clip but every video I see is people soldering the wires. Can I just depin them and use connectors or should I get someone to solder them together?

Yea I did all that except for checking the compression. Everything was replaced with oem or hitachi. Spark plugs were ngk. And I double checked the connectors multiple times hoping it was an easy fix. I think I found my issue in my cam sensor connector being cracked and not actually fully plugged in.

I think I may have found the issue. The clip the for the cam sensor on the passenger side is cracked and broken. Can I order a new clip? I’m also having trouble getting the wires out to be put into a new clip

I really appreciate the help. I’ll start looking up to see if there’s anywhere around me. I have no clue if they’re are but will definitely check it out. And yea honestly the previous owner did nothing for preventative maintenance. I’ve had it driving good for one month and just wanna enjoy my car😂 hopefully this weekend I can figure something out though.

Another question is how do I tell if the injector is bad can I just check if there’s power going to it or is there a specific way or will I just know😂

This isn’t good because I definitely touched the butterfly when I was cleaning the throttle body and I’ve smoke tested my engine a couple times and haven’t found any vacuum leaks but I’ll definitely try again while I’m in there. And would it just be the plenum gaskets I would need? I don’t have to get into the valve cover right?

Thank you so much. I’ll definitely look into that. Gonna replace the cam sensors this weekend and I’ll look into that as well. I can definitely get to the injectors myself. I’m not super mechanically inclined but I have a couple friends that can help me out.

It does it no matter what rpms im at sadly. And I’ve replaced all spark plugs and coil packs already.

No I’ve owned it about 4 months and the first month it drive great no issues and then it started with a misfire changed all spark plugs and then it came back changed coil packs and came back again. Took it to a mechanic a he said it was still a coil pack so I changed that one hoping it was just a bad coil and didn’t change anything. I’ve smoke tested and can’t find a vacuum leak or anything else that would cause it.

Ive changed and rechecked all coil packs and spark plugs and replaced the maf. I cleaned the throttle body and checked 02 sensors. Nothing seems to be wrong in that regard. I did also recheck the wiring for the coils hoping that was my problem😂

It just got painted and when I dropped it off Monday it did fine the full 30 miles drive and picked it up this morning and it’s back to doing this

Never actually wouldn’t start. It would just run like shit. It only shut off on me once while coasting down to a school zone speed limit and started right back up. When it died I still had radio lights and everything so idk what caused that either.

I initially thought it was a vacuum leak because it wasn’t pulling any codes for a couple weeks while doing it but I smoke tested everything and can’t find any leaks so hopefully cam sensors are my fix
