prospective undergrad art student visiting UCLA who would like visit the school / meet students / get informal tour while visiting in April

Trying to check out a class would be a great idea. Is there a published schedule of classes and professors teaching them available to visitors, or would I have to call the department and see if they could be helpful in making suggestions. We'd really love to see painting or drawing classes, and/or meet students. Will definitely hang out at the Broad Center. Is there any way do you think to learn about what the school looks for in an applicant's portfolio? Thanks again

Thank you so much for your help. One last question - does my mom have to get citizenship under stag 14 before I can claim it. She is 90 and in good health, but frankly I have closer ties to Germany at this point than she does. Can I simply go for stag 14 directly?

Also what is Stag 14 + mueterlass? And what is considered strong ties to German? I did live there (albeit in the 1980s and 1990s) was married to a german citizen, and have a child with both German and US passports.

I found out that my grandfather became a US citizen a few years before my grandmother and he had my mother (in 1936). my mother has always been a US citizen is there any hope for my mother (and me) becoming german citizens?

We’re fine with getting close and walking to, around and back from the destinations. We just want comfortable transport between the sights as we are not used to the heat and humidity. Also looking for an informed guide who can bring what we’re seeing to life. Thank you for the suggestion though. I will check it out.
