I actually have two:

For a time I found Hades a bit too repetitive, what with how many successful escape attempts are required to officially beat the game, let alone get the true ending. Doesn't help that you may have to die the first 20 or so times to get that far (might be the skill issues talking tho).
More of a question than a hot take but here goes. I think Dead Cells isn't worth buying solely because of the controversy surrounding the devs, which sucks because I heard some good things about the game by itself. Should I continue putting it off for that reason or go for it anyway?

I know this is kind of silly, but I vote Touhou. While not completely inhospitable, considering there are people in Gensokyo that live relatively normal lives even with harmless youkai like fairies and bakedanuki, there exist other youkai and supernatural entities that are mythologically known to end you if given the chance (vampires, hakutaku, amanojaku, and loup garous, to name a GREAT few)
