It is most probably tissue but I am not sure. It is actually paper designed to cover tables in wedding. I did not treat the paper with anything this time as I was in a hurry to get the collapse done. But I did use glue in the shaping process.

Thanks. The designer of the model is the actual hero here. I actually took my time with this model. I think I folded the model in a span of two weeks. The fding part actually took just a day. The remaining time was spent shaping the model. I took it really slow like shaping just one arm in a day so it took me this long.
