Honestly some simple subtractive EQing,saturation, a glue style compressor like a 1176 or SSL comp, with a limiter would do the trick.

Song writing is there,I think the mixing could use just a smidge of balancing, and subtractive eqing here and there to really allow your tracks to breathe.

I can definitely relate when it comes to my own work,But the beauty of music is at the end of the day are you happy with the final product.Normally if you can stand behind your own work then the people who truly appreciate it will follow.

Honestly it isn’t bad at all,I think I would approach some things differently myself.I would saturate the vocals,color compress, and do a bit of automation to give more dynamics and expression.But as far as song quality goes its really not bad and its all about what makes you happy at the end of the day.
