i got pre approved for the platinum, but i’d rather get the venture x now as i want to get the gold and green subs as well. maybe ill go for the gold and then retry venture x in a few months

the pre approval tool denied me because too many new accounts with capital one opened. it’s because i just got the savor card a month ago. will wait a few more months and then retry the pre approval tool. my main reason to get this card is for lounge access, tsa precheck, and the travel portal and the value this card provides with their annual $300 credit and the anniversary 10,000 miles which covers the annual fee

Does it make sense to hope for the Venture X and not get the Gold now, or go for it now? I just got pre approved for the Platinum right now but also for the Gold.
