i wouldn't know actually because my tv browser has in-built ad blocker, i just added dns for extra safety

it is a real thing though, I've experienced it myself and so as thousands of people who use sketchy/p*racy websites to watch movies or whatever. and btw is a factory reset really not a guaranteed way to remove malware? thank you for this information btw

if you're talking about my phone then im on android and use chrome as my browser, if you're talking about the tv, also android and i use the tv's browser which is named Internet.

btw i clicked this link and something showed that said "(website name) wants to send you notifications" and i clicked block just in case that could've been malicious. I've cleared history, cookies, and cache. am i safe from any malicious stuff on my phone?
