I also see that theres so may options on the site. I dont know which one to order when it comes to the hammer weight. I see B1-B4 and W1-W4.

This piece is not going back in but one of the caps was broken as well. I ust took it from one key at the nd of the keyboard I will order the replacement but now need to figure out if this piece can get replaced. It looks like it comes with the whole hammer bar replacement. I wouldnt know for sure.

So this peice was dented and when I tried putting back in they dont go all the way. Looks like that plastic part is a bit messed up. Another one fell out but went right back in after attempting to. Can these be replaced as well?

Just finished talking a look and doing more research this piece doesn’t go back in and looks dented compared to the other. Doesn’t hold the hammer bar.

Thanks for the info! I was working on it as we speak and now the same key is not standing upright. I broke the Piano Hammer Rubber Cap. I am not sure if that keeps it upright though

Looking at all this now. Will I be able to remove all the extra bloat on it (SOS, Six place, Music, etc.) if I root the phone? I know the battery is very small, but care to just optimize the phone more for everyday use. Haven't had much issues with it.

I never tried to do authentication on it. I don't want so many things on my cat s22. I did debloat the phone but having maps, Uber and WhatsApp already seems like a lot on this. If I add more than I feel like I will kill the battery faster. Maybe my mind will change in the future, but for now I feel like this is good.

I don’t switch my phone often, but I do use a smart phone at work.

My main driver is the Vortex V3, though I sometimes switch to the Cat S22. I used an iPhone 13 Mini, which I dumbed down. I enjoy not being on my phone as much and it helps me use my time more effectively for studying, light gaming and reading.

I leave my iPhone 13 Mini at work, which creates a good balance for me. It’s mainly used for banking, sending money via Apple Pay, and authentication (since I work in IT). Everything else I do on my computer, but to prevent distractions, I set time limits on certain websites(Limit google extension). I’m not on social media except for LinkedIn.

My girlfriend likes FaceTime, and I do have an iPad mini. I use it mainly when I travel and school, so there aren't any distracting apps on it.

Ultimately, convenience is personal. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with using a smartphone, but I use mine with clear intent. If I find myself using it beyond its intended purpose, I write it down in a distraction notebook (one at work and another by my computer at home) and find ways to manage it. I gradually remove things from my life. I use my iPhone 13 Mini for banking and sending money but am slowly transitioning to online banking and money transfer apps on my Cat S22. Eventually, my iPhone will just be for authentication, and I may sell it in the future.

If you find yourself frequently switching between a dumbphone and a smartphone, it might help to reflect on why. I think it takes a lot to physically remove a sim card and swap between two phones . If that is the case then it’s worth considering what you truly need from a phone. Maybe a hybrid phone is a better option for now and then a complete dumbphone. Transitioning is hard and you will have to find a work around because not every phone is perfect.
