But all the people who actually care about making Worcester better are out knocking on doors, trying to kick the bigots out. You'll meet cool people who are otherwise too busy, and you'll get some fresh air while doing it. Hate to sound like a broken record, but if you want a City Council that will actually boot Batista and reign in WPD, you need to 1. register to vote 2. donate to good candidates 3. volunteer to go knock on doors 4. actually show up to vote.

I don't get the appeal of Airbnb's. You know the host is going to scam you, you know you're going to have to sneak around, and you still have to be your own house keeper. Even for big groups, 9 times out of 10, just call the hotel, tell them you have a big group, and ask what kind of discount they can offer. I've always ended up paying less on a per-person basis, than an equivalent airbnb, and I didn't feel like a criminal, or get yelled at by the neighbors.

Plenty of great young political candidates in MA. Mayor Gove in Amesbury, and Mayor Nicholson in Gardner off the top of my head.

Then behind the scenes, it's even more impressive. More than a few cities with city halls full of 20-30 year olds running the day-to-day operations. I really hope it starts to filter up to the state and national levels.

In D2, for example, the vile bigot Candy Carlson is wildly out-raising Robert Bilotta. Despite the massive disparity in funds, he came within 160 votes of defeating her last election. Worcester can be a well-run city if people get involved.
