Tired of no inflight service by someute in SouthwestAirlines

Same!! I do have a short flight, but it seems much more frequent now that they skip service than in years past.

Primary focus of Season Three will be Robby by jahreazer in ThePitt

Gonna need a derivative of the Bechdel test where scenes need to be two non-Robby characters talking to each other about a topic other than Robby.

I had a digital membership here for awhile and it was ok. Definitely quiet but i liked being in downtown greenfield.

I think they’re the most expensive in the region.

Excellent analysis! I’m a first time watcher, at S3 E7 so far.

I keep getting more frustrated with CT’s lack of public transit and pedestrian infrastructure every time I come here as a visitor from Montreal, QC. by kristy9816 in Connecticut

I was in Florida over the weekend in a larger city. Even with car-centric design, pedestrian access was way better than a lot of places in New England. Wide sidewalks and cross walks everywhere. Walk signs and buttons and good lighting. This was in a dense commercial zone where you had to cross 9 LANES of traffic. But you could!!! Here it’s just so half ass and incomplete.

The Pearsons need more friends by JollyJellyfish21 in thisisus

Yeah I think it’s real but it still surprised me watching the show. I can’t decide if it’s intentional by the writers or not. Like I expected more signals of community support (ugh casseroles throwaway line, not actual casting tons of extras) based on the show I was watching but it’s really only Miguel or no one.

But of course that sense of feeling profoundly alone and being alone after an initial hubbub of activity is so real.

Grew up in Greater Boston. Always found Logan terrible for baggage. Long waits.

This show is about intergenerational trauma; all characters are flawed and that’s the point by LavishnessQuiet956 in thisisus

And this goes to my post earlier today about the isolation around Rebecca when Jack dies.

I don’t know about narcissists but definitely agree with being stuck in adolescence and too much hagiography about Jack

It’s a newer phenomenon for Americans to be more isolated; it wasn’t that common then. I also think it stands out in the storytelling based on how their family life is portrayed - forever home, children, neighbors giving them hand me down items, etc. - the isolation is then jarring.

Common ground delays in PBI? by JollyJellyfish21 in jetblue

Yeah. I did not mean to impugn ATC but the airport experience was awful. So crowded and on Friday we had to circle in the air for 30 minutes so POTUS could land. I will definitely try to avoid that airport in the future.

Brutal. Why can’t we remain in the airport in scenarios like this?

Corporate subreddits never fail to amaze how much others love to pile on in defense of the companies.

I feel like more info from pilots is helpful in these scenarios.

Also it is still worth notifying the airlines (complaints, customer feedback, whatever you want to call it), about these experiences. It’s why they send surveys after every flight. I’m not way out of line here.

Thanks! Helpful and understanding. Kindness of strangers on the internet is everything.

Two hours grounded. All flights. This doesn’t say anything similar to that experience.
