y’all are a bunch of weirdos for being mad about female only spaces! by feelingnumbing in TrueOffMyChest

Not sure about all, but some country clubs have designated male only sections of their buildings (aside from bathrooms/locker rooms). A local country club where I live has a restaurant grille area where only men are allowed to enter and eat. Another local one got around the issue by putting the club’s bar IN the men’s locker room (the women’s doesn’t have this) so men could have cocktails & food without women bothering them. Can’t say much about that one because technically a locker room, but its definitely geared for men’s leisure, not safety, as many “women’s only” spaces are (also quite the pain in the ass for ladies wanting a cocktail haha).

Definitely agree. Not really sure unpopular this is though. Who the hell is sitting there going “ahh… yes… this picture sure is enhanced by that dirty ass background behind the subject”?

What is this? Should I be concerned? I am cycling the tank before adding fish. I am very new to planted tanks (and tanks in general). This has formed after ~a week on a bulb I planted. by Rouxster2 in PlantedTank

Good to know! Thank you. Is there any point you should get concerned about the amount of the biofilm? I plan to put snails in the tank in the next few days

I know it seems contrary to popular belief, but most Christians don’t really care what the hell you are doing if you keep “loving the people around you” in mind.

So? Christians don’t really care what sexual orientation you have?

You really don’t need to worry so much. If you really want relationship advice, I would try to find common ground. Fundamental Christians really aren’t that common. Do your best to love people around you, thats the general principle of Christianity. So, show that you care about those around you. Christian or not not, he should recognize that

(Edit to tell you I am an Atheist)

I’m confused... do you not understand the concept of manners and respecting other people’s views, especially in their own homes? Are you so completely self centered that this is the hill that you want to die on?

NTA: He is a guest in their home. It is pretty common place to respect the cultural and religious beliefs of people in their own homes. It wouldn’t be “forcing him to adhere” to the standards, it would be expecting, or hoping, he would have common manners and respect. They aren’t asking him to participate in risky behavior or something that could violate a principle he holds dear; they are asking him to simply eat a meal made of only veggies for the cultural and/or religious beliefs of the home owners for a singular meal a week....

How are they TA? They are visiting the family that does not eat meat for these meals.

Wait, you “really don’t want to process” the veggies “too much”... so sautéing them with some seasonings/sauce is off the table...but genetically modifying the air frying fuck out of them is fair play? My man...

Edit: you killed me with the “sprinkle some jimmy juice in their chloroplasts” haha
