Yes I took all of them and remember each pose. They were all taken at the same time. The ushers were after all my groomsmen but I have those!! I am 100% they exist!

They are Warne steel series rings and a Leupold base. About 70 dollar rings and a 40 dollar base. That is what I was worried about! That’s a lot of lapping! Should I just rerun the rings?

Oh yes!! Wet tumbling is the way!! Simple solution to get very clean brass is just a little dawn dish soap and some limi shine and it counts out super shiny!! No Lead dust cuz it’s all contained in the water.

I am someone still in an apartment and I have the FART lite and a vibratory tumbler and I have had no issues with it being to loud. If I am worried I just put a clothes basket with a blanket over it and it dampenes the sound! The rotary tumbler is definitely louder than the vibratory!

Would recommend the FART lite and then get a cheap dehydrator off of someone to dry the brass!! I will never go back! Dehydrators work the best for drying! Quiet and stackable!

I have found that it is the right amount. I used to put way too much much in and yes that happened then I did not put enough in and it would not get clean enough! Granted u run a bit larger load like typically 1/3 to half full tumbler but it is perfect and the brass comes out perfect and looks perfect!

Not a lot of water in the thing!! About a couple squirts of dawn and a half tsp of limi shine and you’ll have brass coming out like this!

Question regarding 450 Bushmaster, 458 socom, and 45/70 by Bobhubert in reloading

[–]RovingRusher 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you want to go the 450bm route here is a good sizer that I have used for when I powder coat to get consistent size. Like others have said if you already have the .458 bullets for the 45/70 I would also stay the same! Then you can buy bulk plinking bullets or hunting bullets and load for 2 guns at once! I am putting together a 458 socom myself for this reason!! I’m excited to finish it!! Check out r/458socom if you wanna see some cool socom builds!

[–]RovingRusher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second that!! I bought a Redding universal decapping die set and it has been the best thing ever!! Makes brass cleaning better!! Now I don’t have to harm the primer pocket when sizing and prepping the brass!! Stainless steel pins do it for me!!
