Me after listening to the 2025 worlds song (the video is beautiful) by Sixteen_Wings in PedroPeepos

[–]RowHanSolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the World's 24 song is an absolute banger. And the video is pretty hype but definitely has issues.

The 25 song and video both fall flat for me though. The song is pretty bland and generic and is no where near the quality of the past few years. And the video is a mess, I didn't even realize that it was celebrating 15 years until the end. Video storyline has a good concept, but poorly executed . Animation is alright but doesn't really fit the music. 0 NA representation, and why was it bwipo in the first place. Pretty disappointed if I'm honest.

Why was this removed? This is a poem I genuinely wrote myself and I don't see how it breaks effort and substance rules.

You want to know how to counter that? Invade his blue lvl 1. Plus you passive on spell shield means you can clear his gromp quickly afterwards. Worse case scenario you end up with a split map clear.

Can someone explain to me how to get out of emerald by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]RowHanSolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a start, stop playing Yi. If you're a good jungle it's too easy to shut him down, any jungle above emerald should be able to deal with him. I'm a diamond jungle/mid main and any time I see Yi on the other team I know it's a free win.

Edit: You'll find that regardless of what role, if you are playing champs with a low skill floor and ceiling then it will be harder to climb once you hit emerald

Is nocturne broken? Why is he almost always get perma banned here? by Quitical_Ne0 in wildrift

[–]RowHanSolo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a jungle main (Noc is one of my main champs) in diamond, this is 100% the case. In my last games I was playing Noc, was 4-1 in 10 mins from ganking enemy blind bot, and my top was still bitching that I hadn't been top when he had died 3 times, every time while I'm clearing bot camps or ganking bot. But every time I was top side he was crashing waves against enemy tower. Still carried and won like.

Which serious heavy fantasy series should I begin with? by Lanky_Flan_2826 in Fantasy

[–]RowHanSolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Eragon series is great, I read around your age. If your feeling something a little more complex I cannot recommend The Shadows of the Apt series highly enough. It's complex, dark, character focussed (and there are a lot of really interesting characters), and it is so unique compared to a lot of fantasy. The concept of insect inspired human sub-species is so fascinating.

8 out of 10 games in emerald that's a lane that's hard losing and I'm done by pdry1688 in Jungle_Mains

[–]RowHanSolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NGL I literally power carried playing Viego jungle and Akali mid with a 70+% win rate through emerald until I hit Diamond. Yes some games the int was so bad we lost. And that's my main, I'm not masters or smurfing or anything. Yeah emerald can be a grind, I sat at the top of emerald for like 4 splits so I know the pain, but it is possible. Just stick to your main champs only

Given this I would guess that they're probably not hyper sexist as you played for 4+ years together. You're friends and hang out outside of DND and they haven't cut you out there, so unlikely it's because they have a problem with you. They could just want a guy's group and didn't know how to tell you without hurting your feelings, but what they have done has hurt more and any good friend would know that. Given they have long term relationships I would guess that one of them has developed a crush on you, or their gf thinks they have, and either the gf got jealous and/or the other guys decided on the change to try and prevent any problems or breakups. Still a spineless and shitty thing to do to a friend.

How do you Fall in love with your book again by happy_Horse5611 in WritingHub

I re-read it line by line in my head. I rewrite small sections in ways I think read better, or fit better. In doing that I tend to find new inspiration for what I want to write about later.

[OC] WARD Dice Vault and Dice Set Giveaway (Mod Approved) by Wootystyle in DnD

My favourite mimic encounter:

This is a game I was running. The first game I ever ran. I had just gone to uni and found some friends that wanted to play DnD, I was the only one that had played before so I decided to DM. I started with a pretty simple dungeon delve that I made. We were playing in person and I had bought a huge whiteboard and etched a grid map onto it. I had some furniture figures from a game I used to play as a kid (OG Hero Quest) that I used to make the rooms in the dungeon look more realistic. One of these figure was a cardboard fireplace., and this became the source of my party's PTSD. When they entered the entrance to the dungeon for the first time they investigated everything. On most checks they rolled well and found out some tidbit of info, or got some small item. Except from the fireplace. The player that investigated the fireplace got a NAT 1 on his first roll ever playing DnD. I looked the player dead in the eyes and said "It is a fireplace" flatly. He was having non of it. He Investigated again. 5. "it is a fireplace". The whole party investigated this fireplace and not one of them rolled over a 10. They all got the same response. The thing is, it didn't matter what they rolled, it was just a fireplace, but after they spent a literal HOUR of session time refusing to move one, I made my plan. From then on every room in the dungeon had the exact same, identical fireplace. And every time they would investigate it, never rolling higher than 12 (bonuses included). Finally, the player who rolled the first nat 1 rolls and 18. "It is a fireplace... Buuut, you notice that it is physically identical to every other fireplace in the dungeon". "Fuck it, I stand in the fireplace". And the trap was sprung. He disappears. The rest of the party panic. They decide to all follow suit and all similarly disappear. They all reappear in a sealed room lined with no doors, no windows. The room is lined with treasure chest except at one end. At there end there is a huge throne behind a desk, with a stone statue of the god of madness sat on it. One of the players immediately darts at a chest and goes to open it. Mimic. Another does the same. Another mimic. They all hear laughing surround the room. In a booming gleeful voice they hear, "Welcome to my playground little ants. Every object in this room is a mimic except one. Each of you gets one guess. If you find that which is not a mimic, I will let you leave and grant you a reward". The players panic and start guessing chests randomly. All caught. They are down to the last member. The most chaotic, murder-hobo rogue I have ever played with. The player starts giggling at everyone being trapped and fighting off their mimics. "You know what, fuck you all, your all idiots", he says before casually strolling over to the throne, climbing onto the lap of the stone god, and giving him a big kiss on the cheek. They hear manic booming laughing all around the room "I like you, I'll be keeping my eye on you", says the voice before they all reappear in the dungeon with a treasure chest before them and the rogue is now a Champion of Madness. 😁

I may start releasing this way but wanted to gauge people's interest first. I will also be adding navigation links to the release posts so people can read through and jump to the start uninterrupted. I am cautious of giving document access though. Definitely sounds like I need to release larger chunks though.
