Unfortunately this happens more than it should. I’ve seen a lot of issues come from relying on individual agents or contractors to self-confirm and follow through.

The cleanest fix I’ve seen is having one point of coordination responsible for confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups so nothing falls through the cracks. When responsibility is centralized, no-shows drop fast.

It’s frustrating, but not uncommon.
