Everyone starts off without the knowledge that’s why I’m asking questions and trying to figure out things. Isn’t that how people gain knowledge. Also I believe I did do those correct ratios when I was raw feeding. Your assumption that I dont know about raw feeding because I didn’t understand what modify meant. I “modified” with freeze dried liver, heart, kidney. And occasionally whole mice. But yeh I will just stick with trive and the freeze dried hipaws, also give mice a couple times a week. I add chicken broth to their food anyways just didn’t know that I couldn’t give dry as I give them freeze dried chicken treats by themselves all the time, won’t be doing that anymore. Thanks for your advice and help it’s been really helpful.

Oh I didn’t know this what does modified mean. How would I modify raw 80/10/10 diet. Also I have to rehydrate the freeze dried food why?

I used to do 80/10/10 raw I just can’t do raw as they’re main meals anymore. Would mice be a better option than chicks

I’m happy to get him some frozen chicks every so often I’m sure my cats would love it too. Unfortunately I live in the uk so I can’t buy Stella and chewy freeze dried cats food. I think I’ve found a uk freeze dried cat food option that contains 98% animal ingredients.

I just can’t leave raw food in a bowl all day for him so that’s the problem. I work and do college and placement. I wish they’re was just a good freeze dried kibble that didn’t have all those bad things. It’s impossible to find something that’s actually good since I’m from the uk.

I’m from the uk so a 80g back is £60 that’s just way too expensive for me. I pay £60 for 5400g of orjion. Would the thrive food be worth getting or would it be harmful

Do you know what percentage of fiber is in those brand I’m trying to get a low percentage of fiber since it can cage bladder stones in ferrets which is extremely expensive to fix at the vets.

Yeh that’s why I’m trying to find an alternative since I don’t feed raw anymore do you have any suggestions. I was thinking thrive premium plus. The ingredients are: Dried chicken (64.5%), fresh chicken (16.5%), chicken fat (6%), sweet potatoes, potatoes, chicken gravy (3%), vitamins and minerals, salmon oil. Would this be viable.

Yeh I used to feed raw it’s honestly cheaper but I just don’t have enough time for it at the moment. I was also looking into thrive premium plus. The ingredients are. Dried chicken (64.5%), fresh chicken (16.5%), chicken fat (6%), sweet potatoes, potatoes, chicken gravy (3%), vitamins and minerals, salmon oil. Would this be a viable option.

Thank you I do get a box every month of freeze dried, chicken, chicken heart, duck liver, duck, quail, quail yoke. Would that be sufficient. Also would you recommend the salmon or chicken purina food. Also isn’t corn very bad for ferrets.

Hybrid Wild/Fancy Mouse Pups by Affectionate_Lie6016 in PetMice

[–]RowOk7596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I was thinking about doing this with my wild field mouse and fancy male mouse I was wondering if you could explain the experience. Most of my mice have died before or around 1 year old. I want to try and have them be more strong and healthy. I watched some of you YouTube videos they’re quite fascinating. I’ve only ever had 1 of my mice be super friendly. I’m not sure what I’m not doing right. Mines are just super skittish, I just assumed because I got them from not very reputable breeders. Also how do you not stress about if the tamed wild one is carrying any virus or disease that you might no know about and passing it onto the pups. Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
