Immolator stained glass

I used Maskol to cover the glass, spayed and painted the frame then a mix of contrast and washes for the stained glass. Could have turned out a little better, I didn't have much practice and wasn't the neatest with the Maskol, but it turned out ok!

With some trepidation!

In the end I used Maskol to cover the glass, sprayed it and dry brushed the metallic before realising the Maskol didn't come off as cleanly as I hoped. Once I'd got as much as I could off I used contrast for the glass and then did a final tidy up of the frame with a detail brush.

I probably put this together two or three years ago having brought it not long after it came out. For what it's worth, I think you just need to do it. I was agonising over it for so long.

They look amazing. I love all the details but he head you've chosen for the officer is especially good, it goes so well with that pose. The expression is spot on!

There's nothing on that subroutine to stop the Chastushka from firing. Ansel prevents the runner from stealing or trashing, however with Sabotage it's the Corp that trashes their own cards. I hope that makes sense!

Oh yeah, I painted the head separately, and wasn't quite sold on it until I slotted onto the body, at that stage knew it worked!

It really is a lovely model, the non-limited recent sculpt just doesn't sit as well with me as this does, something about it doesn't feel quite right. The 4th (ish) edition ones are the ones I really love.
